No Turbo? I guess they really want to be like NHL, what about the 1st step or fast breaks? Unless it's all momentum based

Yeah, that's going to be a bit of an adjustment. Hopefully there'll still be a way to outrun and chase down opponents and it won't be skewed too heavily in one direction (ie. no catch-ups or too many catch-ups).

Having no turbo button looks weird. Have to wait for the demo to have first impressions.

As long as they get the physics of smaller, quicker players versus bigger, slower players correct it shouldn't be a problem. Most people drive using turbo, and I think it will be better once that trigger finger is free to do a gather or pass. Fast breaks may make or break the decision, though. The fastest player on a breakaway should not be caught up to, unless it is the second fastest player, because arguably people can go faster without dribbling a ball.

been playing 06 and 05 with no turbo (wrong controller drivers) and just using the turbo boost you get from the freestyle moves make it play a lot more realistic IMO

but the fast breaks, like pat mentioned, is where that decision will really matter
Opinions are my own.

Agreed, I'm inclined to agree that with the right dribbling moves getting to the basket shouldn't be too much of a problem but fast breaks will be the true test. So long as the speed differentiation allows for realism when it comes to outrunning the defense and catching up on the break, we hopefully won't miss it.
