How many bytes do we set for Sim Quarter Length, Difficulty, Real Player FT% and Injuries? Also wanted to know if Game Speed helps with more realistic game play?

if the option has a slide bar, then its set to float. (e.g. shot success 1-100)
if its on or off (e.g. inj 0 - off, 1 - on) or option with limited option (e.g. diff 1-4 pro - hof / sim length - 1-12) then its 4 bytes.

imo game speed at 50 is realistic, its where i leave it. set it lower if ur slow to react , and faster if ur jedi

I managed to find out a bunch of addresses for post-patch sliders and settings. I think the address for sim quarter length is 545B3C0 but I haven't been able to test it yet. Here are the addys:

Thanks to pdflash on 2k Forums who had a slider post that I used to help me find the right values.

These can't be right, because it shows all the sliders value 0, the value should be shown as 50.

Any chance someone has a code to make it so you only play 29 reg. season games in myplayer mode instead of the full 82? I used Binba1028 before patch but I'm guessing that doesn't work anymore after patch. Thanks.

does anyone have the skill points address? I like to tweak the dribbling so i don't lose the dang ball so easy. Can't even perform a dang crossover without losing the ball.

I have "cheated" (once, just to find out) and set everything to 99. I still lose the ball often during cross overs, and things start to get to complicated and don't work when I try other moves.

You can change it without using tsearch. It can be changed after the patch.

I've been using TSearch for MyPlayer, but I can't seem to find a way to slow down the game? All the games I play in both teams take 110+ shots, have like 150 points and 70 rebounds every time? Can anyone tell me which sliders to change to get a more realistic game stat? Like 80 shots a game, around 100 points etc.

First thing you can do is lower both game speed and player speed. If the game feels too slow and boring you can raise it up to where you are comfortable, and then you can lower all the cpu shot tendencies so they use more of the shot clock. Those tendencies are attack the basket, short, mid, and long range, and the post up tendency. You can also try to work more of the clock by calling for the ball, and calling a play when you are on offense.

Thanks for the ideas. Not sure how the tendency setting would work. I've adjusted the tendencies in the Association mode and it's working reasonably fine. But even when I set everything to 0 in MyPlayer it seems the CPU (ie when my player is not in the game) still takes too many shots...

I've adjusted the game speed but that affects the "perception" only? ie if you lower the game speed enough you'd notice the game clock actually slowing down? So the CPU still takes the same amount of shots but in slower motion...

Which field is the player speed? I don't seem to see it in the cheat table above? Am I missing something?

Never noticed that the clock slows down. I played with game speed and player speed at 74 and 24 seconds was still 24 seconds. I had to do the opposite (increase speeds and tendencies)of what I said to get both teams to get acceptable possessions/shots in my Association which I play with 9 minute quarters. I figured it would work in My Player mode but I forgot about the "sim till sub" stat problem. The best thing you can do is lower the minutes in combination with game speed.

I don't know what field player speed is, as neither game speed nor player speed appear on the chart, and I don't use TSearch(because it doesn't work), so I wouldn't know. I tried using CheatEngine to find it, but failed.

If you have the ball, hold the clutch/post-up button then press pass. Make sure that the pass indicator is to the receiver.

If you don't have the ball, press rebound/block button to call for an alley-oop, iirc.

You can know more moves under practice mode.
