So the patch didn't get rid of the clone in my My Player file. 2K really sucks this year. Its bad enough that the gameplay has taken a turn for the arcade, but their big game mode is busted.

Ron said that you should reinstall the game, i.e. delete old saves, and start a new My Player over just to be sure. Should be gone if you start over but there's still a chance that the clone will be there if you continue you're old save game.

2K doesn't suck. Gameplay is not arcadey, I believe you are wrong there.

Well he didnt say it sucks period, he said it sucks this year and he is right. The game is beta plain and simple, too many bugs and glitches for it to be a actual release and an anniversary to boot.

The game's just fine, just fix some of the gameplay issues (post double/3 seconds/etc.) and the server problems and everything's fine.


However, I really think there should be an option to adapt the foul limit. I mean, if you play 6 minute quarters like I do, that's half of a normal game and you can still commit 6 fouls. The whole foul trouble thing is just unimportant then. If you have a limit of 3 or 4 fouls, though, you have to care about fouls again.

Well your forgetting about many peoples my player mode bugging out and not working past the first season, and thats on all three platforms. Random crashings, of course the online not ever working, and the many many things on the patch list. I do agree with the fouls, although I have played an entire season and guess how many foul shots my team has attempted...23. That has got to change because it kinda ruins defense, the cpu just runs in for the layup and gets clobbered and gets the shot and no foul is called, even when i run in for the lay up.

I've had about 4-5 crashes over 100 games or so, and it's been when the court is loading.

I don't play online and I can't really complain about the game. Sure, there are some glitches here and there but I've been playing the Live series from 95 up til now and 2K10 is still the best basketball game produced. I remember some old Live games where the CPU would never foul when down by 1-2 points with like 10 seconds left in the game, so you could just dribble out the clock. In one game players never fatigued.

There have been a bunch of issues with all NBA games throughout the year, and 2K10 has its issues too, but it's still a damn good basketball game!

can someone who is in touch with ronny ask him when can we expect a pc patch? tnx in advance.

Ronnie said, on his Twitter, the other day that the details about what will be included in the patch will be posted no later than 4 January, not that the patch is coming out then.

He's also said that they're aiming at releasing all the patches for all systems at the same time. I'd guess around mid-January.

the patch that was going to be released around mid december was the first patch. when they realized that they were doing a 2nd patch, instead of releasing both to the PC, they deleyed the first patch to include both patches.

the PC patch is also going to include the missing alternate jerseys and most likely all-star weekend stuff as well.

according to ronnie2k's twitter the PS3 might get the second patch by monday... and date for 360 is TBA... but the sad part is still no details on the PC patch

This is getting unbearable. What's the damned holdup with the PC patch? And why do the consoles get two patches before we even get one? C'mon 2k, I've been on your side since you released 2k9 for the PC when EA fu**ed us over. Don't start down that path.

My Player and some other functions are downright unplayable without the proposed fixes. I hate waiting 5 minutes each time out for the retarded ref to inbound the ball.

As much as I love a big man that can shoot the trifecta, Brandon Bass going 0/6 or Dwight Howard going 0/3 or Zaza Pachuila getting hot & going 1/3 just doesn't do it for me. Way to ruin it for me 2k
