well yea maybe i phrased it a lil harsh especially since i havent played it myself. i apologize for my outburst, BUT it seemed as someone dunked the defense had no chance. no contestin a dunk or smth. the offensive player just seemed to fly past everyone. that was a lil weird for me personally
but as u said, its all defaults, so im gon put it on the account of that

There is no dunking with no chance in Live 10. It's hard enough just to get off a clean layup without the collision animations getting triggered.

Sir Andrew's new nickname should be pump fake Pete.

No apologies necessary, you're entitled to your opinion. However, I would suggest that videos don't always represent the quality or enjoyment factor of gameplay; even if it's just a demo, your own hands-on experience is a better way to determine whether you like a game or not.

Pressure's on me, I guess.

Not my best performance in that one, plus Pat's defense was awesome to boot. On the other hand, I feel it's very realistic; in the last decade the Bulls have proven themselves quite adept at following up a good performance with an awful one.

Clippers had that paint locked down.

Notice that I was in a 2-3 zone for most of the second half? The game did that automatically, and since it was working, I didn't switch back to man.
Andrew, you did a crossover with Derrick Rose that I had never seen before. It's not on the highlight video, but it was a quick and very wide cross to the left hand and back to the right that was just sick. I've got to learn how you did that.
It looked like you were lagging a little bit. Some of your shots were late releases and it looked like you wanted to make some of your passes before they happened.

I'm really enjoying the PvP, and actually looking forward to the games in your series. Thanks for posting, Live makes me want to get a PS3, I'm stuck with 2k on the PC but I have feeling about Live . . . Thanks

Nice dunk @ 4:15 and the Baron Davis shot from behind the backboard, too bad it didn't count. What a blowout by Andrew though.

FlashThe audio de-syncing is starting to piss me off.

Andrew just opened a can of whoop-ass on you.
Who's leading the series?
Sun Nov 08, 2009 8:26 am
The Bulls 3-2. Next two games will be at Staples Center, or atleast game 6 is, I think. Based on looking at the Bulls, they would probably have home court advantage if this were real, so maybe if I am able to win game 6, we'll do Bulls at home for game 7.
I seem to do pretty well defensively with the Clippers, but I just can't get any shots to drop, even when I am open. Points for realism, I guess.

Davis' shot going in from behind the backboard was one of those video game oddities that are cool to see from time to time, stuff that could happen in real life but seldom is reproduced in virtual basketball. Same goes for DeAndre Jordan's dunk that almost rolled out. I'm glad you included both in the reels.

I was just thinking, it would be nice if in future games you could actually set up and play a proper series against someone online, with automatic stat tracking, recognition in the commentary and the appropriate cutscene when the series is decided.

I don't know what was up with that dunk. Although the Noah missed dunk looked like a block from Thornton who had his arm up through the rim, I don't think it was counted as one. It was similar to a random pass interception earlier in the series with Baron Davis when I did the "hands up" animation just at the moment you passed the ball and it tipped his hands and he recovered the ball. You don't hear anything from the commentators and wonder if you got the credited statistic.
I also thought about pitching an "online series" between users to EA. Add it to the wishlist.
I will post the team and player series stats when it's over, though. Don't worry about the ending cutscene, I will try to have that covered.

Yeah, I think ultimately the missed dunk by Noah only counted as a missed field goal attempt. Rim stuffs are a bit too plentiful post-patch in my opinion, happening simply for the sake of having some missed dunks in the game.
