Ratings are just a joke. Kirk Penney's overall rating is 43 I think and PC has a similar rating too
whereas Mike Fitchett and Lindsay Tait are around 60.

More importantly, date of birth of most players on the Tall Black squad are just incorrect.
It says PC was born in 1980 and many more.

Those are not editable either....

I would have liked if the Aussie team had 12 players like most of the other national team rosters
(Jason Smith and Sam Mackinnon are still there :( )

That is disgraceful. Penney will go down as one of the greatest bballers that NZ has ever produced (with Marks) & they piss on him like that. As for Pero, I guess intangibles, awareness, strength, ability to shoot the 3-ball, good passer just don't come into it. I don't mind that ratings are crap, but they really should make them editable (N)

You can edit the ratings for FIBA players. You can't edit the bio data (ie correct incorrect birthdates) or add/remove players from FIBA teams however.

I stand correctly. That's alright then. Although it would nice to be able to edit it all considering there will be no updates during the season.

Absolutely, I'm all for as much customisation as possible.

We should beable to customise all we want, we are buying the game from then so we should get priority what we want to do with our players and rosters.

Not that I disagree as such, but the mere fact we're buying the game doesn't mean we're entitled to customise absolutely everything or that we must have that level of customisation. It would be for the best however, no question.

Penney's Overall is 52; shooting ratings are based on DNA data, his three point rating is therefore 36% (with 65% being the maximum for three point shots). As mentioned before, you can edit the ratings for players on FIBA teams as well as their gear, jersey numbers, DNA and their shooting styles.

Lithuania again totally wrong... 4 centers and just 3 guards? if they couldn't spare time and money for a sound file and cyberface, why not add Macijauskas instead of the completely useless Andriuskevicius?

Why can't they let EA Canada to be in charge of the FIBA mode?

So the guys who make the FIFA series... It should be separated off of NBA Live, I don't understand why they wouldn't want to release a separate game - it worked for UEFA and WC games (of course, their market is bigger, but the hype of the upcoming World Championship is pretty high, and numbers could be sold in Spain, France, Germany, Russia, Turkey, maybe even Australia)

if they put in some work, they could come up with a great international game (for starters, an official 2010 WC game, maybe addition of the continental championships)... and I don't care whether it's EA or 2K - couldn't be worse than what konami's doing with the UEFA license

Well, no. Two completely different dev teams work on FIFA and NBA Live.

I don't mean gameplay, presentation or anything within development - but those FIFA guys do a lot more international scouting... They could at least share their sources on games (I mean, the chinese Beijing mod for Live 2005- even with it's inaccuracies it's way more accurate than what EA's given us)

I don't think it's a matter of not having sources for the FIBA teams, more likely it's a case of likeness rights and the FIBA teams not being a priority.

Well, the FIBA teams aren't really a priority (nor should they be - it's NBA Live, after all) but it's possible they'll change a few teams for NBA Live 11. I'm fairly certain nothing will happen with them as far as updates for NBA Live 10, especially since no more title updates will be released (only the daily DNA/lineup updates).

Turkey is very shit at game. There's Hakan Demirel, Cenk Akyol, Mehmet Okur (he declined to play because of shit Bogdan Tanjevic), Ibrahim Kutluay (he is retired) and Kerem Gonlum. It should be Bekir Yarangume, Sinan Guler, Kerem Tunceri, Oguz Savas and Omer Asik.
PS: EA is always going worse and worse. Not important, also I play very older versions (2001&2003). :D

As I understand it, likeness rights do cause a few problems with the FIBA rosters, similar to getting NBA Legends in the game. As for the games getting worse and worse, NBA Live 10 did have some good improvements - in terms of providing realistic gameplay, it goes a lot further than NBA Live 2001 or NBA Live 2003, at least pre-patch - but there's still plenty of room for improvement across the board (and especially in Dynasty Mode) for NBA Live 11.

Lebanon played great at Asia Cup, but they are 4th. But they entered to World Cup.
PS: Wild-card save Lebanon :D

I believe, NBA Live 11 be a great game. But 2001 and 2003 are unforgettable (2001 has KG's moves on all players).

I agree that they're unforgettable but for me, mostly for the wrong reasons (particularly 2003, which had good intentions but didn't cut it sim-wise).

I would like to note sth about greece's roster....

dikoudis, papadopoulos, hatzivrettas, kakiouzis are not playing for greece since 2007. You should put in greece's roster these players

SG 4 Kalampokis, Ioannis 31 - August 15, 1978 1.96 m (6 ft 5 in)
SG 6 Zisis, Nikolaos 26 - August 16, 1983 1.97 m (6 ft 6 in)
PG 8 Calathes, Nick 20 - February 7, 1989 1.98 m (6 ft 6 in)
SF 10 Printezis, Georgios 24 - February 22, 1985 2.06 m (6 ft 9 in)
C 11 Glyniadakis, Andreas 28 - August 26, 1981 2.16 m (7 ft 1 in)
SF 12 Kaimakoglou, Konstantinos 26 - March 15, 1983 2.06 m (6 ft 9 in)
PF 13 Koufos, Kostas 20 - February 24, 1989 2.16 m (7 ft 1 in)
SF 14 Perperoglou, Efstratios 25 - August 7, 1984 2.03 m (6 ft 8 in)

Not my call - we're an unofficial fansite, after all - but hopefully the FIBA teams will be updated in NBA Live 11. There's other things I'd say should be a much higher priority, but since they've got the FIBA license to use it certainly would be good if the FIBA rosters are brought up to date.
