Interesting...I wondered whether Dynasty Mode would be involved when they mentioned something extra with 365 that would blow us away.

I know the producers did hint a few months back they were going to try something for the DNA system to work to a degree for dynasty mode.

If that's the case I'm interested to see how it will work. After all, a Dynasty game is its own "reality" with the potential for transactions and player development running contrary to the real NBA and you might not want your players on a cold streak at the current moment in your Dynasty just because they are on one in real life. With those as the main obstacles, it'll be interesting to see what they've done, if indeed that's what they're alluding to.

The DNA system should change based on what happens in the Dynasty mode itself, or maybe an option to have it change based on the real updates.

That certainly could be part of it. They did make particular reference to the daily updates though, so whatever the new aspect of DNA is it will presumably be coming in every day as part of the updates.

From Beluba on Operation Sports forums.

I was just wondering if you guys were able to add more variety in Live10, in regards to how players position themselves in halfcourt sets before plays are called.

And will these new formations be player/team specific?

ie; Bonner, Sheed, etc. setting up behind the 3pt line even though they are considered Bigs. Pietrus, Bowen, setting up in the corners etc....

thanks

Yeah this is something i think you guys are really going to dig. Novell, one of our gameplay producers, will be blogging about this later on... but this is an area of the game that got a significant upgrade. We started by integrating the team tempo feature from ncaa and then built on top of that. If you're a big x's and o's guy, i think you'll appreciate the level of authenticity in the team specific offensive systems in Live 10.

me being surprised  :|

really im more like  cause i bet it has something to do with what was supposed to be next weeks blog (an actual factual blog) rather than the past two and what this one will be. my guess is that they were going to show too much and PR wanted to push it back a week, and since they can only beat around the bush for so long before everyone has a major issue with it, they just pushed everything back a week rather than BS a blog.

that is my conspiracy theory, enjoy

Probably something along those lines. It seems EA's PR department is really clamping down on the devs this year.

Especially with what happened last year and the similar ideas between both games. I honestly wouldn't mind if they waited longer, because that would mean the 2K developers have less time to implement a cheap copy, like living rosters, wasting precious development time.

I'm tired of the little fill in blogs myself and am looking forward to the informative and visual blogs with indepth details about what they improved and have included this season. Can only hope next Fridays blog will be the roll out of that information.
