This is a fix that will allow you to run NBA Live 08 PC in Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
Due to the deactivation of SECDRV.SYS in Windows 7, and its complete removal in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, it is becoming difficult to run older games such as NBA Live 08, due to the copyright protection that requires that driver.
There are workarounds to reactivate SECDRV.SYS, but an easier solution is to use this fix to replace the game's executable, and bypass the outdated and
unsupported protection.
Please note that you will still need an original disc to install and run the game! We can't help you with a pirated copy.
Installation
1. Locate the folder you've installed NBA Live 08 to.
2. Make a backup of the original nbalive08.exe file if you wish.
3. Extract nbalive08.exe to your NBA Live 08 folder, overwriting the original.
4. Run the game using the new executable file.
