None of the above. I'll be waiting for another company making a basketball game and try it's game.

Well. Looks like NBA 2k9 is coming to PC officially, hopefully this year.

You loyal NBA Live PC fans like me who grew with NBA Live on PC, please tell us if you will return back to NBA Live next year, or stick with NBA 2K for years.

My opinion:
Because there is no NBA video games this year on PC, and i have no console though, i'm going to buy this year's NBA 2K9 for PC.
But i love NBA Live's footplanting and realistic looking graphics. I don't like NBA 2K's sliding. I'm a 21-year-old guy who has been playing NBA live for 10 years and grew with NBA and NBA Live passion. So hopefully, i'll be returning back to NBA Live 2010 next year with a next-gen release hope.

hihi

I dont know who keeps telling you guys that any 2kSPort game is coming out for PC. Just look at their official store and you´ll know it. Amazon also has no PC version. GT and IGN also dont list a PC version....

I´d really like to see any nextgen basketball game on the PC (espiecially after seeing FIFA 09 on my PC) but its not gonna happen this year

You know, you don't have to be "loyal" to a product. You don't have to eat only at McDonalds, you can go to other places if they're better or what you want. Only fools and fanboys buy the inferior product year in and year out when there's something better in the market.

What we really need is Inside Drive 2010 on PC. That and a good five cent cigar.

Well. It's not just about being loyal. It is about getting used to. I have been playing Live for years. I didn't even know what NBA basketball is when i first played NBA Live 98 demo. Then with 99 and 2000, i've become familiar with the NBA basketball. So for me, this is where "it's in the game" begins and where "where amazing happens" begins.

I now got used to NBA Live's playing style. This doesn't mean i will never like NBA 2K's style, though i never played it on a console. The only thing i like about NBA 2K is animations. I feel like watching a real NBA broadcast on TV broadcasting sliding players with signature animations.

Well. First and foremost, we'll see what happens, especially with this empty basketball video gaming year on PCs !

Sounds like you you got used to mediocrity? I feel sorry for you if that's the case. Fanboyism is for kids and bordorline retards. If you're "loyal" to a brand who doesn't give a fuck if you alive or dead...then you're sheep...and that brand is your shepard.

Us normal people base our expenditures on the best product...not the company. If you honestly believe that NBA Live 09 is better than the competition..then go with it. Don't base it on "loyality"..they aren't loyal to you afterall. Only people I think EA are loyal to are Webmasters like andrew who get their annual free trips to canada and a free copy of the game. I can definitly understand his loyalty to the company...

I completely agree with you.

I feel confused. That's why i opened this thread.

I'd like to see NBA Live growing and improving.
But since 2005, the company treated us PC gamers like a step child. Well, i'm 21 - i'm not a child though.

Anyways, my conclusion is:
We'll see what 2K will be bringing to PC. Then if i like 2K, of course i'll make this season matter and all those upcoming seasons.
I'll get one of those titles, maybe both, maybe none of them. But, we are consumers, right? We'll see guys. We'll see.

Vote it. Peace!

Truthfully, I'm not against the idea of playing NBA2K if I'm disappointed in NBA Live but my experiences with games in the 2K series haven't sold me on it being a viable alternative for me. I won't say it's a bad game or that it has no good points because that wouldn't be true but I'm just not a fan of their control scheme and haven't had the ultra realistic experience with it that everyone raves about. I'm more interested in NBA Live being a good game; failing that, I'll play an older game in the series or something else entirely.
