Sounds interesting. What will you do with the existing Charlotte players?

They're all going to be put into different teams, maybe some will be in free agents.
This is my first "diary", by the way. Hope you guys enjoy.

[off-topic] I really wish NBA Live had a create-a-team feature. If that was available, I'd probably have just done that, but this is the next best thing, I guess.

So this is assuming the Bobcats did not participate in 05, 06 and 07, their respective players were drafted by someone else, the Mavs and Spurs met in the conf. finals of 04 and all their history is stricken from the record?

Good luck.

I love ignorant people.

Lol good luck cuz i won't be reading....

Oh darn!

Anyways, my next update will be coming soon. It's not very exciting, but it's kind of required. It will show what the last three drafts looked like without Charlotte in them. I tried not to fool around too much, didn't want to make too much work for myself. Meh!

Isn´t it supposed to be 8? Still great job (Y) You made a little mistake there, in Chicago, Hughes is twice, you could(should) replace one of him with Gordon. Also, few decisions are bit odd for me, ex. Blount over Wright or P.J. over Posey, Ely over Pargo, but still good overall(although if I would´ve been Knicks, I would have tryed to dump Marbury). Seattle sucks without 08 draft class, still you have another mistake, Moon, who was rookie this year is there, but no biggie.

Thanks for the quality response man, I'll fix the hughes/moon mistake right now. As for the amount of protected players, nah, I decided to go with seven. For the players you're questioning, I tried to make sure the teams had some depth to them, back ups at every position.

If you happen to see any other errors please point them out!
Thanks a lot!

Seems interesting actually. Almost like the Bobcats are re-doing their expansion draft. Good luck! (Y)

lol @ MadNice, his spam posts and his own joke of a dynasty.

Due to the general decline in quality of the average dynasty this year, I was skeptical, but this is pretty damn good! Very original idea you have here. I'll be following this for sure. (Y)

Some sick presentation so far, good detail. I wasn't expecting much in the beginning, but might be a decent read after all

Just caught one mistake myself (Fixed now).
If you see anything else, please feel free to point it out.

Also, sorry for such a long post, I would have posted each image in a separate reply, but I don't want to get flamed for "quintuple" posting.

If I´d choose 3 out of each positon, it would be something like this:
PG: Pargo, Quinn and Jackson
SG: Pavlovic, Azubuike and Sefolosha
SF:Morrison, Wright and Salmons
PF: May, Moore and Webber
C: Thomas, Turiaf, Mutombo

Yeah, there are a lot of ways to look at it. Should you draft an already developed player that might only have a year left, or should you draft an inexperienced player and try to build him. I suppose the best way to go would be a nice mix of the two, we'll see!

Also, remember, just because that website (clutch.com) shows information, it's not always going to be completely accurate. For example, that was posted under the "rumors tab", so Charlotte could be looking to draft a player that isn't even listed, or maybe they'll draft someone that clutch.com says has a "Low" chance of being drafted.

You know what never mind bro cuz i thought you were going to redo the whole history of the drafts from 04-08

To be honest, I'd have loved to do that but that would have involved way too much work. This has been a lot of work and I have tried to simplify a lot of the areas I'm working on. If anyone has the balls do to a dynasty like that, I'd read it for sure.

but ya lucky cuz i didn't like the idea in the first place....

Oh gee, I'm so lucky! I'm so glad you will be reading my dynasty. Like, omg... Thank you so much.

Another great recap. I would go with Blake, Thabo, Salmons, Moore and Magloire, but that's just me. Can't wait to find out who you really pick!

btw; why is Chris Quinn your #1 PG prospect?

I'd vote no. He's a poor mans Gilbert Arenas imo. He's not quite a team player, more like a selfish one and so. Though, he's got some true talent !

Yeah, kind of a random (and low) number of people to draft - I know.
Keep in mind there is still the 2007-2008 draft and the signing of free agents.

Only regret I have right now is that I didn't sign a couple more guys. I should have gone probably gone with 10. I would have liked to been able to trade for another 2007-2008 draft pick, but eh - No going back now.

yeah you should draft Kelena and Dorell and also my man Ronny Turiaf - he's a beast.
otherwise nice to see something new, you're doing great, keep it up. (Y)

**there's one little thing, on that rectricted players post, you don't have Gibson as restricted that means if he was writed there you could choose one of those players - that guys are pretty good...well i guess it's too late now.

Looks like you have a franchise player! One thing, for who was Cook traded for, originally he was for Smith, but Miami don´t have Smith anymore. Bit amazed that Noah slipped so far. Nicely done again (Y)

TyWakam,

If you'll remember though... EA Sports has McRoberts rated pretty high, with a seemingly limitless potential... or maybe that's from one of the mods. Regardless, I see him getting All rookie team status on 08... yet another reason why I went back to 07.

Isn't he in the 60s?
Or is this EAs roster? I remember him being in the 80s.

Nice job snagging Oden and Sessions. I would have taken Landry personally, but w/e. Good luck leading your expansion team to glory!

Daequan Cook, Kevin Ollie, Reggie Evans were traded to Miami for Udonis Haslem and Mark Blount.

Yes, Joakim Noah was a steal for Miami.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone.
