ummm, if you raise the gamespeed too much, the players, clock, and everything else speeds up so I would say you should stick with the gamespeed at 50. If you want higher scores, you will probably have to play more minutes per quarter...

TC, I tried out your sliders with mixed results. I was playing Detroit at Charlotte and Raja Bell was unstoppable. Now he's a decent player but c'mon, he went for 29 pts and shot 6 for 10 from 3 pt land. He was making them with 2 guys all over him. I don't consider Bell the star of the team. I would think now that JRich has been traded that G Wallace or Okafor would be. As far as Detroit goes, Rip, Tayshawn, and AI weren't the stars of the game Stuckey was. I set everything up as you suggested and before the start of the game set Charlotte's plays to all plays. Charlotte won btw 105-98. The cpu nevers misses 3 pointers, ill regardless of defensive pressure, very frustrating.

That's weird, when I played the Pistons it was Rip and AI killing me on offense. Just last nite when I was playing agaibst the Blazers, Roy light me up with 29 pts on 26 FGA. Is your CPU offensive Awareness at 32? and Are you playing on Pro? Also, what you want to make sure is that before you play against a team, make sure the other team's Superstar has the highest Shot Tendency, Close Shot Tendency, Mid-range Shot Tendency and Drive to the Basket Tendency in the Player Edit screen. These ratings should be at least in the 80s if not in the 90s.

Pistol, do you have clutch factor on? Raja Bell kills me from the perimeter if he ends up with the ball.

No Sir, clutch factor is off. Also, both user and cpu fg% is extremely high in my opinion. Both teams regularly shoot in the mid 50's sometimes 60% from the field. Very unrealistic. What can be done to lower both?

Hey guys, try lowering USER DEFENSIVE AWARENESS to 50, I see a big difference between opposing Superstars and their 2ndary players. I think it's because the opposing Superstar is less pressured and therefore looks to score more rather than passing it up to other players.

Also, you may have to lower the OFFENSIVE sliders since the shooting % of the CPU will increase I believe

Well, I lowered the offensive sliders for user and cpu and the fg % is still off the charts. Fg % should realistially be 45-50 %, not 60-70 %. It's like this every game I play. cpu never misses 3 pointers either. I played Wash at Philly and Andre Igoudala (who's not a good 3pt shooter, made everyone he took, about 5) Unrealistic. I downloaded these sliders called 1 Blue. Are these for PC? Getting crazy results with these sliders.

lol the "Game Sliders1Blue.SLD" are my sliders that you've downloaded. But I've told you that once you raise User Defensive Awareness up to 50, you will have to adjust the "OFFENSE Sliders" in order to accommodate this. Therefore you should lower the short, mid, long range shots for both User and CPU to your own discretion.

Ok man, I'll try that and see what happens.
I'm not knocking your sliders, just looking for realistic results. Also where's the defense in this game? I try hard to avoid fouling and play good position defense, but still get beat on certain plays.

Hey guys, I've changed both of my User/CPU Offensive/Defensive Awareness sliders to 42 and also User On-ball Defense to 42 and I'm getting great results. I beat Indiana 90-77 with Granger (CPU) putting up 30 shots while score 32pts for the CPU team. Also, they only had 24pts in the paint which is the lowest I've ever seen while playing NBA 2K9.

User/CPU Offensive Awareness: 42
User/CPU Defensive Awareness: 42
User On-ball Defense: 42

I think it's important that both offensive and defensive awareness sliders are the same number since they both need to balance each other out and not give an advantage on either the offensive or defensive side. As you can see i raised the awareness from 32 to 42 since I found that even though cpu team was looking for it's star player more, the offense overall was very slow to develop and often the cpu shot at the end of the shot clock. But with 42, as you can see Granger still put up 30 shots while the 2nd most was Daniels at 12 shots. I will upload my slider and you can use it if you want, but beware that you should adjust the "OFFENSE SLIDERS" to your discretion if you want higher/lower FG%.

Here are some screenshots that I took when I was playing against the Cavs (CPU) using my sliders:

Image

Image

As you can see, Lebron (CPU) took over the game and was taking the majority of the shots which a Superstar should do. Also, in the team stats screenshot, you can see that the Cavs had 46 PIP which is not too high since Lebron was driving down the lane a lot. The shooting % is on par I believe, in the 40% mark. I am playing on PRO difficulty with 10mins Quarters, also it is important to press 3 on your keyboard when you are in the Quick Game screen after you have chosen your teams (user vs. CPU) in order to set the opposition's playbook to "ALL PLAYS" before you start the game.

I used Meh & Ryans Total PC Roster v2.2 with my minor tweaks such as raising one or two Star players on each team's shot tendency in the 80s-90s to make sure they shoot the most when I play against them.

Here's another screenshot of stats when the Raptors (User) was against the Pacers (CPU) using my sliders:

Image

Granger took most of the shots for the CPU as expected and had the most points as he was leading the Pacers to a win over me. Shooting % for both teams is realistic and PIP is in the 40s since they were driving to the hoop and using post ups.

I play 9 minutes and my fouls and turnovers are higher than that. Turning up the foul sliders and the play passing lanes slider or just the steal success slider for the cpu helps. Getting into foul trouble increases the difficulty, too. Whatever you feel is more fun for you, though. I know lots of play stoppages can drag the game on, make it feel kind of boring sometimes, and with less fouls, there are less stops in the play. It can also increase the free throws taken to a more realistic level.
