Holy cow..

Sat Nov 01, 2008 4:34 am

I was watching Game 2 of the 1986 playoffs, Bulls at Celtics.

What an amazing game, Jordan is like the clutch god, those 2 free throws he made on the questionable foul by Kevin McHale were cold as ice. Anyone else here see this game? It's insane!

I'm pretty sure this was MJ's 63 point game, considering he has 54 pts and they are going into overtime now.

And yes, this is the first time I actually witness a Bulls jordan game, I saw him in the Wizards but I didn't start watching basketball until 2002-2003.

You've never seen MJ play? What the hell is wrong with you, man?

Don't ever talk to me until you've seen Game 5 of the '93 Eastern Conference Finals.

or any Bulls game in the 1990s for that matter (except for the 1 1/2 year Jordan went to play baseball)

Don't worry, Jordan on the Wizards is the "real" Jordan. His Bulls career was just a small string of lucky games.

Where Jordan basically tasted Pippen's ass.

Sat Nov 01, 2008 6:30 am

Right, as the foremost NBA scholar has shown, it was basically Scottie Pippen (and David Stern, and the refs, and the media) carrying the team while Jordan tried his best to hold it back.

Always good to learn your history Doobie.

You're still quoting that idiot? "holy cow!"

You're still quoting that idiot? "holy cow!"

THANK YOU

Nope, you're wrong. Michael Jordan is the worst player in NBA history. Because I said so. Sorry but only an idiot who doesn't understand basketball would claim otherwise.

Not my fault you guys don't understand.

Sat Nov 01, 2008 10:30 am

yeah alright, 99.9% of the people who plays/follows basketball thinks MJ is the greatest player ever, you and those random dudes are just the special ones, we'll never understand you

Sat Nov 01, 2008 12:56 pm

 This is getting interesting. Don't you just love it when people don't get explicit sarcasm?

Man, get a reality check. I'm sure there is nobody out there who hasn't seen Jordan play.

*slap* *slap*

Anyway, you really should start watching him more. After all, he is the
basketball god, isn't he?

Takes one to know one. How could this possibly be right? Did you pay any attention in school-this was like one of the first things taught!

I prefer Game 5 of the 1997 Finals myself.

flu game...yeah, that one was one of the best games ever, an inspirational performance from the greatest basketball player ever existed

but favorite moments (not games) has to be something like the move he did in the 1991 finals, game 2 (i think...i was just born that year..forgive me if my memory fails me:lol: )...greatest move of all time

The thing is, how many of you young folks literally sat through a whole bulls game from early in the day? Like seriously, besides highlights and Wizards games, how many of the people here who got into basketball late, or are younger, actually saw a game when Jordan was in the Bulls?

Sat Nov 01, 2008 5:37 pm

me...i have watched countless games (whole games) of Jordan's Bulls, mostly playoff games, since they are the only ones i could find(for the older ones..), but i do remember some of the games that i watched live on tv when i was a little kid..mid 1990s

if u r a bulls fan, how could u not watch a bulls game with jordan in it? :P :P i still watch the bulls games right now, even though i am disappointed most of the time...

Sat Nov 01, 2008 5:47 pm

I'm not a bulls fan though, and I never truly came across the oppurtunity to see one of his games.

Sat Nov 01, 2008 5:54 pm

well, if you wanted to, you can find alot of his games online, on dvds..etc
the development of computers, internet, and indeed all forms of media is a bless

I prefer that game in the 92 Finals where he shot the lights out with three-pointers and gave that shoulder shrug.

Sat Nov 01, 2008 10:06 pm

if i remember correctly that was game 2, and he was against the trailblazers lol
easy win for the Bulls, i believe Jordan hit 6 of 6 from three point range that night?
