Probably just about time for me to upgrade, though if those are the specs I'd be able to run it, just not maxed out.

No.
I PASS EVERYTHING except 2.4ghz (i have 2.15ghz) , BUT I can play 2.8ghz Spiderman 3 and thats more required for the PC so i'm good to go

A 2.15Ghz Core2Duo > 2.4/2.8Ghz P4.

What's your graphic card?

BioShock has similar system requirement listings, so go here:
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest
And test "BioShock" (or download the demo and try it.)

Looks like I can run it, but I'll need a new graphics card to run it at higher settings. My 7900 might run at medium. Anyone think a single 8800 GT could do the job?

A single 8800GT would be more than enough.

guys, why do u think that 2k9 would demand more or same as crysis? crysis has more detailed and dynamic objects that nba simulator! and if the game runs on max with lags, i'm sure - turn off the crowd animation and the game gonna run as hell!
only god can judge me

I highly doubt it will demand more than CRYSIS, due to the shading and lightning this game had w/c really affect the performance, also it depend on wht direct x version u will gonna use , D10 or D9

In my opnion crisys belongs to top 3 having the most demanding system requirements as of present games with the exception of not yet realesed games like FARCY 2, FALL out 3, BROTHER in ARMS, and GTA IV

but that does't really matter to me  HAHAHA I cun ran this game HD :D 8-)

man it seems the requirements is silmilar to FIFA 09 and the memory requirement is too low, what do u think guys??

and another good news :D PES 2009 DEMO is out wowwww
