Speech patch

If U are adding a player, is that possible to add a commentary
and in game speech for his name??

I`am not talking bout any name expl mine but
names like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar etc.

i heard that if the player has a name like williams which is already in the game that the announcers say it??? i haven't tried it mysel but i did see a thread somewhere that said this from memory

Yeah, in last versions of NBA Lives, people who updated rosters used to make the announcer say a name of an already existing player for a created player

(ie in Live 99 where Jason Williams and Marc Jackson had to be created :
Jason Williams => the announcer says JAYSON Williams
Marc Jackson => the announcer says MARK Jackson

this was alright for those names but for some other it could seem weird)

and in 2003 if the name being used isnt on the game, they use the nickname that u set to ur created player

say there is a lorenza harrington, or whoever that has to be creatd in live 2003, they will say HARRINGTON (or it should) when the guy scores, taking the last name from al
