I like both CF, especially Amare... I just think that Steve Nash's hairs on his chest look like a scar, but that's OK... Well done (Y)

Mon Jul 21, 2008 12:59 am

Spechless Work bro   (Y) Really like it..

Anyway you haven't release it yet, so you can make some minor fixing on it ;)

-The upper lip ( just clean the side or just dodge it)
- They eyes.. I don't know that is hard, coz in the real pic they are almost closed :D But anyway try to fix the eyebags :) Just blur them or use the stamp tool.. You know..
-And maybe if you want fix the alpha layer (delete with a black color the down lip /it looks good with the light, but it's too shnny.. Just reduce it.. But you know these are just small shits.. Anyway.. Speachless (Y)

great stat bro keep it up ;)

I think the most urgent fix on Nash is reducing his cheek bones. Another thing you could do is moving the whole group of eyes, nose and mouth down a little bit and reduce it, to make everything more proportional. If the eyes are a little closer together, it'd be better also.
Image

On Amare, you could make his ears appear more on the front view, reduce his eyes and make them closer to the eyebrows.

Amares eyes could do more a lot of surgery fixing and nash hmmm still i dont quite see it as the real nash...try to apply other head ebo and see if it looks good

Mon Jul 21, 2008 12:58 pm

[LAKERS4EVER], thanks for your comments.. I'll fix his chest hair.. ;)

GaZuN, thanks for those suggestions.. they will be more than useful to me in completing Amare. :D Thanks for prasing my work as well.

[P3teR L]uStiG, thanks!

dreadd41, Thank you sooooo much for your advices and screens. Those screens and suggestions of yours really point out a lot of things. I will fix as you indicated. ;)

Mr. 468, I know.. his eyeshapes are weird at the moment.. For Nash, I will not apply other headshape to him because that means I have to model his hair again from scratch. Besides, I've put too much effort into this ebo.. I'll just fix this one and do the best I can. Thanks for your suggestions, they were useful to me as always. :D

Modi amare looked like a hungry bunny there....hehehe,.. fix the two,..their is something to be fixed, but i don't have enough time to point it out, b'coz i'm currently using my cousin's laptop, she's doing something here,...

if there is someone who'll point it out, maybe kris,

could you give Nash a Hair ebo?

Modifly,

Thx very much for the fix of Steve's chest! (Y)

By the way, I just got another request of a player that had not been created so far. I'm talking about Joe Crawford, the #58 draft pick of the L.A. Lakers. If you got time, would you try to create him??? It's just a request, so if you gonna try working on him please don't hurry :)

You know, just would be a pretty nice thing :D

I haven't really fix his chest hair yet.. :|
As for your request.. No. Just No.

I'm kidding.. of course I'll make him for you if I have time.. I never deny requests, it's just a matter of when I'll have time to make them. ;)
Thanks for being open hearted and giving me all the time that I need as well as telling me not to hurry. I definitely could do with some time on him...

I've learnt a lesson. Never make more than one bhed at a time unless you got someone on the ebo editing. :? If you're alone on both the bhed and ebo.. you'll choke yourself. :D

Wed Jul 23, 2008 12:57 am

ditto (noun) = The same as stated before.

;) ;) ;) sorry about that...

Wed Jul 23, 2008 12:58 am

i made the bhed of joe crawford :P

Wed Jul 23, 2008 1:18 am

GH33, you dont have to be sorry.. it's my English that needs improvement.. ;)

[P3teR L]uStiG, cool... that will reduce the amount of work loads from me then.. :)

Wed Jul 23, 2008 3:43 am

OH MAN, thank you very much! :D

But I'm not sure if you will find a high-res. pic of him. I've searched and found nothing so far! :?

Wed Jul 23, 2008 11:43 am

[LAKERS4EVER], I might take Peter_Lustig's bhed and tweaked it.. I dont really know the point of making his bhed again since Peter has already got started.. ;) The best thing would be to take his bhed and tweak it then give him a headshape. :)

Fri Jul 25, 2008 6:52 am

thx mod ;) xD

Guys.. I've came across a very important decision to make in my patching career..

After three days of consideration and decision making, I'd like to talk you through a well thought through decision that I had to make.

Due to too many CFs stuck in my vault, I wont completely retire. What I'll do for sure is take a break from patching. Since I started patching, my free time is limited and my grades slightly went down. From a very capable student, I'm now only an average guy. I'm the only one to blame for that and in that senses I think the only solution is to reduce my time here in NLSC. Patching have also kept me away from real fun and sucked the live out of me. Dont get me wrong, I had a lot of fun patching but I should take some time to go out and smell the fresh air as well. I divided and organised my time pretty well, but patching still took most of the live away from me. I must admit that I enjoyed this side of my life, but I think it's time to move on physically.

I've had a somewhat rough time since CKal departed. Having him around really make things a lot easier. Talent like him makes your patching life smooth as a lubricant. Since he was in HK, I had to carry all the work load. To be honest, I felt that it was too much for me. I wasn't able to get my CFs done on time, I wasn't able to produce a good headshape. I'm a capable patcher, but I'm not an eligible person. Most importantly, I cant seem to find any motivation or inspiration to continue patching. Working with Kal creates a lot of joy and motivation.. having a partner is always better than one. No man is an island, you feel me? Since he left, I felt that the quality of my work has gone down. My patches wasn't capable of comparing with others like twnlove, GH33, urh28, etc.. I can easily tell by contrasting the amount of comments I recieved and the amount of comments they recieve. The differences are too much to handle.

I'm sure that my absence will cause no harm and damage to anyone. There are loads of talent here in NLSC and I dont think anyone will be affected by my absence. I'll still hang around here on a regular basis. NLSC have merged its way into my routine already. For that, I'm honoured.

As I mentioned earlier in this post, I wont completely retire. I will still patch from time to time when I feel like doing so. The main reason for my break is obviously to restore my lively routine and free time. I'd like to be a lively person again and being able to have some real fun. After all, patching was intended to be a hobby. I was the one that didn't look up the definition well enough..

You can say that my patching battery has exhausted at the moment. I hope this break will fully charged my patching battery and make me fresh again. If that ever happens, then I will be back patching regularly.

Thank you for everything. I cant say enough on my appreciation towards the supports that I've been given since the very first day I started patching. Those kind words and comments really gave me motivation back in the old days, but right now the motivation bar is still at zero. Period.

I hope to be posting previews regularly like I used to in this thread soon, that depends on how mutual I feel. Right now it's all blue and down. If I ever came across an inspiration, I might make a full time comeback here. Who knows.

Until then, my status shall remain as retired. Last and not least, good bye and good luck.

And remember.. GO ROCKETS!!!!!
