Probably Shaq when he scored his career high against the Clippers.

Probably David Robinson when he dropped 70 points in 92 or so.

Has anyone won a Finals MVP and regular season MVP in the same year?

Sun Jun 08, 2008 3:54 pm

I'm sure Kobe won't be it this year.

Willis Reed 1970
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 1971
Moses Malone 1983
Larry Bird 1984, 1986
Magic Johnson 1987
Michael Jordan 1991, 1992, 1996, 1998
Hakeem Olajuwon 1994
Shaquille O'Neal 2000
Tim Duncan 2003

Sun Jun 08, 2008 4:06 pm

Wow, not surprise that Jordan led it.

Is there a team that in all playoff series including the Finals has played all Game 7 or has always have a Game 7 in the playoffs

Sun Jun 08, 2008 4:53 pm

I don't know where else I shall post my question for this..I guess this is the right thread..

What's the name of the song/music for the Lakers introduction in game 1 of this year's final? (the one with the 'uh huhh..yeahhh..')

Sun Jun 08, 2008 7:04 pm

Is there some player that hasn't had an injury for like.. 5 or more years ?

EDIT: With around 20 MPG.

i distinctly remember knowing the song at the time when i was watching it but i can't remember what it was now. if you could provide more i could help.

Sun Jun 08, 2008 8:20 pm

I didn't see it but just the "uh huh, yeeeahhh" reminds me of that Gwen Stefani song, Favorite Girl or something like that. Might be totally off though.

Sun Jun 08, 2008 8:33 pm

You probably mean The Sweet Escape by Gwen Stefani, they played that alot in the arenas this year.

Sun Jun 08, 2008 8:39 pm

yup that's it. I'm 80% sure that was the song. I kind of remember me singing along on the "whoo hoo" parts.

Sun Jun 08, 2008 10:37 pm

Thanks for the help guys..but it's not Gwen's sweet escape..

That's exactly the song I meant. they played that song everywhere last year. No matter which club you went to, they always played that annoying song.

Sun Jun 08, 2008 10:44 pm

Sorry..it's not..typo error..i corrected the post again..IT'S NOT THE SWEET ESCAPE BY GWEN..I'll try to record some of the clip and post it up here..

Do you mean active players?

Because AC Green had a consecutive games streak that lasted close to 10 years, if not more.

I dont know who currently leads active players in consecutive games.

Mon Jun 09, 2008 2:20 am

At this point Andre Miller is the one with the longest lasting streak of consecutive games played.

EDIT: Looked up the exact number of consecutive games. He's at 448 games in a row now.

Mon Jun 09, 2008 2:27 am

Bruce Bowen was with 500 games, but it ended this season, when he kicked Paul

Mon Jun 09, 2008 3:05 am

That's kind a cool. 500.. damn, that's like.. almost 6 seasons ?

Mon Jun 09, 2008 3:36 am

A.C. Green holds the all-time record with 1192 consecutive games played, followed by Randy Smith (906) and Johnny "Red" Kerr (844). Ron Boone also played in 1041 consecutive games that spanned a career in both the ABA and NBA.

Have ever brothers played in the NBA(before this years Brook and Robin Lopez)?(how the heck do you write this sentence)

Fri Jun 13, 2008 5:11 am

Plenty. Horace and Harvey Grant, Tom and Dick Van Arsdale, the Barry brothers (Jon, Brent and Drew) and Jason and Jarron Collins to name but a few.

Fri Jun 13, 2008 5:16 am

Oooohh...Already forgot Barry(don´t remember Drew) and Collins brothers. I remember both Harvey(not as much) and Horace, but didn´t know they were brothers. Thanks :P

Fri Jun 13, 2008 5:22 am

Horace and Harvey were also twins.

Drew's NBA career wasn't as noteworthy as his brother's. He appeared in 60 games for the Hawks, Sonics and Warriors from 1997-2000.

Aren't Vince Carter and Antawn Jamison some kind a relatives also ? From somewhere ( internet ) I read that they are half brothers or something.
