hello, it's a very nice patch. i like nba live 06 simulation player stats so i'm glad i've got ur roster update!

on the cyberfaces problem, it means i need to download the face patches one by one? is there any single file that has already contain all the faces so that i can download it once and for all?

I don't know of file like that. I'm afraid you will have to download face patches for single players. I just used updates for Live 07 and 08 that I had installed into those games.

i see... it's troublesome to download one by one so i guess i will just ignore it and play with bunch of pink faces xP

to Spree#8
did you try your 06 roster to your own live 06 game? i mean does your roster can proceed to the 2nd season of the dynasty mode without crashing in your game?

I haven't tried, but my roster shouldn't cause any problems in dynasty.

I'd recommend the usual dbf troubleshooting, replacing birthstate.dbf and birthtown.dbf and if that doesn't work, try removing the workingdb and currentdb folders.

i also did that Andrew and the game still crashes during the last day of signing free agents. That's why im telling Spree to try his own roster to his own game.. i have nothing against Spree..Peace

Thu May 15, 2008 11:27 pm

Ok, ok. I'll try, but last days I haven't got too much time. Just wait few days.

After the first season? If so, happens to me too... and of course I replaced birthtown.dbf and birthstate.dbf, also deleted workingdb and currentdb folders and didn't help. I really don't know what could be the problem. Maybe someone has an idea?

Are any Codebase Error messages displayed? If so, it might be possible to track down which database is problematic.

Sun May 25, 2008 2:28 am

No. Only the ability to send the raport to Microsoft etc. :?

Mon May 26, 2008 2:50 am

it doesnt show and codebase error. it just crashes down in the off-season between the sign free agent and the trade players period. i hope you can help us out, and i hope another roster patch will be created as updated like the roster of spree.... tnx guyz!

Tue May 27, 2008 12:24 am

That complicates matters, usually when a crash like that occurs the tried and truth method of replacing birthstate.dbf/birthtown.dbf does the trick. There has to be a conflict somewhere but I couldn't hazard a guess where, especially without a codebase error.

The NBA Live PC mod will include a roster update though but that's not going to be available just yet.

Tue May 27, 2008 1:21 am

the community will be waiting for that

Tue May 27, 2008 3:28 am

it really doesnt show any codebase error the game just crashes down but i guess the problem lies in the players dbf because it crashes between the sign free agent and trade players. anyways... its just a wild guess... i hope andrew the roster patch will be released very soon and i also hope that it will be updated like the roster of spree with complete cyberfaces and portrait.... tnx andrew....

Tue May 27, 2008 3:32 am

It will be a while before my new update is out but it will be part of a very detailed update. Check out the NBA Live PC section here in the Forum for more information on the project.

Tue May 27, 2008 3:44 am

i also hope that there will be a complete shoes patch complete with locale.eng (like the one for 07) and updated jersey patch for nba live 2006 that will be released... thank you very much guyz....

Sun Jun 01, 2008 4:39 pm

...wow this is my favorite roster of all time...but killed it when i found out it doesn't work with dynasty....I even spent the whole day and found all the cyberface for pink faces....and now I can't play dynasty

Sun Jun 01, 2008 10:30 pm

Well, the first season is fine when you replace birthtown.dbf and birthstate.dbf files from my roster with the original ones (from database -> originaldb folder).

It crashes through the offseason after the first season, but it doesn't show any errors or something like that, so I really don't know what's the problem.

And glad to hear you like it.

Mon Jun 02, 2008 6:42 pm

Spree Im going to use ur roster to develop my roster...i fixed all the pink heads and i have all the cyber faces

Mon Jun 02, 2008 11:10 pm

Do you want to release it with cyberfaces? Well, ok, just credit me.
