Discussion about NBA Live 2003.

Hey, does anyone else have a problem with NBA Live 2003
crashing like 5-10mins into a game.
It totally runs fine for a few minutes, but at random times during the game, the game would freeze up and I would get an error saying nba2003.exe has generated errors...etc
I looked at the dump file for the crash, and it is always an access violation though the instruction it occurs at varies. Now, i've pretty much tried everything, varied detonator drivers, alternated winxp/win2k, different versions of directx, different BIOS settings. I'm pretty much out of ideas now. If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.
Oh yea, i actually was able to play for over 10minutes with the detonator 23.11's but using these drivers, the game was running at about 10fps at the lowest settings which isn't acceptable.
Config:
P4 1.6@2.3
Geforce3 (Tried deontators 23.11, 29.42, 30.82, 40.72)
SB Audigy (newest drivers)
DX 8.1B
Win2k SP3/WinXP SP1
Edit: OOPS, i'm talking about nba live 2003, not 2002

not sure .. but this might be the problem ....
P4 1.6@2.3
overclocking causes the sys to be very unstable ... its happened to me before... its worth a try to bump to down to specs [cause a p4 1.6 is more than capable] and c what happens from there...
hope it works ... like i said .. it worked 4 me before ...

I finally fixed it
As a last resort, I started changing around BIOS settings and increasing PCI Latency from 16 to 32 did the trick. Who would have thought
