YOU DO NOT GET A TURNOVER FOR BLOCKING A SHOT OUT OF BOUNDS!

Sun Dec 01, 2002 10:01 pm

When will EA learn? this bug has been in NBA Lives for ages?!?!

You can only turnover a ball if you get possesion of it to start with thats why its called "turnover" not "boundsover".

Im sure it wouldnt be hard to fix this bug.

Im sick of worrying about picking up a TO if i block a shot.

Basically if you get 4 blocks a game you are going to get 4 TO's to go with it and that sucks.

haha finally somebody posted this..
i've had a gripe with this stupid stat since i got nba live 2000!..and that was so long ago..
it makes me not want to block shots anymore cuz it's a TO everytime..and if i don't block the shot..they normally score..esp. downlow on the block..
even some of the new rosters that de-emphasize jumping and blocking still cannot completely fix the problem of the ball flying outta bounds on some of my blocks with shaq..so annoying

2002 didnt have it

It's not always a turnover when you block the ball,
Most of the time the CPU player goes for the ball and stupidly steps on the line anyway...then it's your inbound.

And sometimes the ball doesnt even go out of bounds at all... but thats not the point.

And this bug was definatley in the 2002 console version.
