what i did was change hue, saturation and lightness - the best colour that always came up was between blue and violet

Yeah we know what you did, the point is why. Its not like you are making the jerseys, you are just taking preexisting jerseys and adding a new layer over it, something that can be done in a matter of seconds.

There is really no purpose for it.

i think it will be showing of more respect if you'll indicate the names of the makers of those jerseys..instead of saying "credits to some jersey patchers"...
come on man..those jerseys aren't even in in-game preview...what use could they be..
