[Chaser's Warriors 07-08] RETIRED INDEFINITELY...........

A collection of memorable stories from NBA Live's franchise and career modes.

I know what you mean, and this would be difference, but I would love it if you kept with the consistency for the rest of the season. I get through seasons pretty quick sim-intervening (I just finished my first month in my Sonics dynasty, after starting a week ago) but I think that if you stick with the format fo the last month and a half, it will be very rewarding. ;)

Hmm.. lamrock you raise a fair point and seeing how you've been a loyal follower (I think, or maybe just returning the favor for commenting in yours, haha jk) I definitely am listening to your opinon. I guess Loosers case was kinda different since he was doing game by game the entire season.

But if anyone else has some counter-points or also agrees, it'd be great if you let your opinion be known. Althoguh right now it doesn't say anyone is on the forum so I guess I'll have to wait. :( haha

And if you're reading this, post your opinions! Don't just read it and not comment...

Chaser7, I have read and followed your work since I got interested in doing a dynasty myself, and I gotta go with choice 1. I agree with the things that Lamrock93 pointed out.

Hmm thought of a new idea, in KM's wizards dynasty, with his format he didn't have to intervene each game. I think I will compromise. I will get all the box scores, keep doing week by week and give a weekyl recap bullet form. It was pretty popular for him, and I don't have time to do game by game recaps for the regular season right now. For the playoffs I will do game by game, sound good? (see Km's wizard thread to see what I mean)

This is what I'm definitely leaning towards. Right now my schedule is swamped and writing full recaps for each game in the week takes up a lot of time. I will still do the week by week presentations and i will intervene most of the games (if you didn't know thats what I had been doing all season for everygame). You guys think this is ok?

Good to finally see you update again. Although I do miss the old recaps, this looks good too. Too bad you lost to Sharp and the Heat though. 53-10 is still going strong, although 70 wins is a bit of a stretch as you'll need to go 17-2 though.

Good luck and keep it coming!

Lamrock thanks man, I hope this sufficient. Who is sharp though? You mean Flash (Wade)?

-Km- Thanks man, although I wasn't a member of NLSC when your dynasty was active, I have read it many many times. For the 1st 18 weeks, before I blantantly completely copied your style to save time, you were the basis, although I added recaps and such. Anyways, glad you checked in for the 1st time, and hope you keep looking! thanks for letting use it btw!

To clarify, Sharp is actually Rashard Lewis. (And I love the trade (Y))

BTW, For the league leaders, I notice red and green fonts. Christmas colors?

Haha, naw I didn't even realize the thing about the christmas colors. I just wanted to make it a bit more colorful and nicer on the eyes.

What do other people think about the new style, does it work for you guys? (Definitely want to keep my fan base satisfied)

Nice recaps, although it sucks that you lost. That, combined with the Harrington injury probably means no 70 wins. (N) Still, you are doing great, and with your depth and record, the injury won't matter much.

Keep it up! Its amazing the Kings are #3 are the Spurs #7.

Yeah, I'm disappointed I lost again... I really wanted to tie the Bulls in 95-96.

The Kings are very good on paper I think, Bibby + Martin + Artest + Miller sounds like a solid 4, but injuries have killed them. Also Its weird that Boston is a number 8 seed... I don't even think they are above .500...

Comments appreciated still! No one but lamrock seems to check in anymore.. :(

Don't worry about me being the only one that consistently checks in. This is an uninteresting part of the season, and people will come back for the playoffs. ;)

On another note, 61-11 seems very possible now, as you just need to finish the season 9-1. If necessary, sim the games, and if you lose, load the save up and try it again... I just want to see a tram win 70, even if it is Golden State. Although right now it seems you are setting up for a season similar to Dallas last year. Watch out, poetic justice is gonna get you.

One last thing: in the league leaders section, why is Blocks Per Game absent, or am I missing something? :?

No blocks, because the sim eng is just too ridiculous for that I think no one is averaging more than 0.6 or something...

I don't wanna restart and then redo games, its kinda cheap. I'll admit I've done it maybe once or twice before in this dynasty, but only because it would be like a really close game and the comp was just hold onto the ball and then hit a 3-pointer in like 3 of my guys faces, and I'd be helpless to stop it. I stopped doing that though, because I still feel cheap. For example, Dwayne Wade's game winner a week ago was an example of that. Very annoying! (N)

Also the point of this dynasty is to crush Utah, hence Warrior's Revenge ;)

Hmm, so, you crush Utah in the second round, only to be swept in the conference finals?

And the block thing is dumb, but when you consider Dirk averages 42 PPG, Duncan leads the league in assists and nobody averages more than 7.3 RPG, it isn't too bad in comparison.

No.... I'm just saying the title reflects the goal of beating the Jazz not beating the Mavs again, (not to sya we won't if we have to). Also who do you think is going to sweep us :P

Eh, w/e Blocks don't really matter especially if they are that low that they are barely registered..

DAMN! that sucks about Yao's injury - there goes another first round exit

i'm a little sour that my boy Azubuike is nowhere to be found; but good to see the Dubs still rollin' and Belinelli/BWright getting some quality burn

also relieved you have no chance to erase the Bulls 72-10 record; that would just be wrong; but a 70 win season would be nothing to cry about either ;)
