Did anybody solved the black screen probelm?

of course i want to play,but i cant,i have this problem i noticed is very common,when you load the game this black screen appears and freezes the computer.
my specs are more than good for loading the game and my nvidia drivers are up to date.
did any body solved this problem?

well all i can say is it must be there video cause mine comes up a black screen for a few seconds then it goes to the ea sports it's in the game so what i could recommend is reinstalling it then try agian and wait for a while so it can load the intro

im gettin those black screen too, cant even play it on win98 but works fine
on XP. i had work on a nvidia 29.42 driver but was too slow and choppy
even if th settings were all in minimum.

i got xp,and im not gonna reinstall my geforce just for a game,no matter how good it is,theres got to be something else i can do.
