Is it possible to update the Miami Heat's jersey with the XX emblem (i.e. 20 yr anniv.). Maybe you can include it with your next release.

Wed Nov 14, 2007 2:08 pm

E-Nati,
Albyss doesn't do graphics.
If someone else does it I'll package it in mine ASAP

Thu Nov 22, 2007 7:34 pm

Sat Nov 24, 2007 12:39 am

You are not installed shoes patch, i suppose.
:)

Sun Nov 25, 2007 11:38 pm

Run the .exe of Real Shoes Patch.
You have to run each .exe of the different versions if you want to have all the real shoes available.

Bye..

Overall a great roster but some problems...

Wed Nov 28, 2007 10:00 am

I was spending a lot of time browsing the stats for nba players and trying to compare it to the roster. IT is 99 percent correct but in my opinion there are some weaknesses to high profile players:

1) Baron Davis, as has been mentioned, is still not an outside stopper in version 3.0. He did lead the league in steals and his defense is superb in my opinion.

2) Lebron James: His legs seem really really fat, sort of like the legs you would see on shaq, so it looks weird on his body. In addition, He is only a highflyer and inside scorer superstar. Remember that he scores 30 points a game and a lot of his points come from outside. I would think he should be an outside scorer (like dwyane wade).

3) Dwight Howard is playing at an amazing clip this year, perhaps his ratings should be higher. Namely his rebound and strength ratings.

Overall an excellent job with the rosters! A refreshing breath from EA sports rosters where only the very best have the superstar abilities!

Thu Nov 29, 2007 7:23 am

Thanks generalachoo for your notes!

Yes, in RR 3.1 8prox release) i have fixed these settings:
- Baron Davis is outside stopper.
- D. Howard have overall 90, improve rebound, strenght and other.
- Improve Udrih, Daniels, Salmons, Blatche, Wilkins, Moon and other players...

Lebron James: yes, the legs are too fat. But this is the limit of database file (only one setting for arms and legs) , because the real arms are too muscular.

Thanks for your compliments!

Thu Nov 29, 2007 8:27 am

Thanks for the response Alby.

Just one last thing. I understand the LeBron James being overrated and overmarketed thing (and I agree to some extent. LBJ should not have been an outside stopper (EA roster))! However, the guy can hit a lot of shots from outside. So you may think of adding him as an outside scorer.

Best regards and Looking forward to the next version.

Fri Nov 30, 2007 8:45 am

Yes, in v. 3.1 Lebron James have overall 96, and these settings:
shot 80
3pt. 70
dribble 80

FFS inside scorer, outside scorer, highflyer and playmaker.

Some notes about the ratings added to what was previously mentioned:

I think most rookies are overrated with the exception of Yi and Sean Williams that are actually underrated. To give an example, Byars is 67 overall and he didn't even make the team. Fatigue, passing ability, inside scoring and offensive rebound are especially high in some players.

Some other notes about specific players:

Ben Wallace - He is not even close to his old self. His defense is still good but not for being the DPOY. His blocking is too high and his rebound combination should be a bit worse. And his def.awareness, speed and hardiness is a bit high too.

Amare Stoudemire - His inside scoring, d.Rebound, def.awareness, fatigue and hardiness are a bit high. His strength and passing ability are way too high. There is no way Amare is a 94.

Tim Duncan - His inside scoring should be way better than a 84. And his passing ability is a bit overrated.

Dwyane Wade - Too high inside scoring.

Vince Carter - His stealing ability is too high considering he didn't have more than 1 steal per game in 35+ minutes in the last 2 years.

Chris Bosh - His blocking/def.awareness ratings are a bit too high.

Pau Gasol - His defense is not that good and his hardiness is way too high.

Gerald Wallace - His blocking is overrated considering he went from 2.1 in 05-06 to 0.8 in 35.3 mpg. Last season he averaged 1 bpg in 36.7. And his defense is a bit high too. And he could have a bit more jump.

Josh Smith - His def.awareness is a bit high but his blocking ability should be 3-4 points higher. His rebound combination should go down a bit too.

Yao Ming - His inside scoring and rebound should be better. His passing ability is a bit high.

Tayshaun Prince - His stealing ability is way overrated and his blocking is a bit too (81-60 for a player who never had 1+ steals or blocks per game in 30+ minutes is way too high) . His def.awareness, off.awareness and passing ability could be a bit better.

There are more things but it would take too much time to tell so i will just give some quick notes.
Steve Francis - way overrated.
Chris Webber - He should receive a worse rating considering there is no team willing to give him a starting spot.
Kevin Martin - Very underrated.
Kenyon Martin - Bit Overrated
Shaq - Bit Overrated
Al Jefferson - Underrated
Danny Granger - Underrated
Hughes - Bit Overrated

--------------------------------
Hope my notes help. :)

Fri Nov 30, 2007 6:38 pm

Oh, and i should mention Kaman that is way underrated considering he is playing as a superstar, lol.

And you should check Ronnie Brewer too. His stealing is too low.
