nba inside drive 2000 and xp sp2

Postby bianco93 on Thu Sep 06, 2007 1:07 am

Is there a solution to make nba inside drive 2000 work under windows xp sp2? I have amd athlon xp 2600* with 512 mb ddr and radeon 9250 128mb with latest catalyst drivers and every time I try to play the game I result a fatal error (It says "unable to begin the scene"). I run it in driver mode since software mode works but graphic is terribly poor... By the way is it possible to ask for support here? Sorry if not

You shouldn't need any solutions? It runs just fine without compatibility mode.

Of course, I can't get Live 2000 to even install while other people claim compatibility mode works. So it might be just me who has everything backwards.

EDIT: Yeah, just installed the game, and it works fine without needing to change anything: http://www.nbavg.org/benji/id2000.png

It must be a problem on your end in someway.

Already tried to run it in w98 compatibility mode but with no success! It does work on a computer running w98 and I tried with no luck on a different pc running xp sp2. Any other suggestion? I'm talking about microsoft nba insidedrive 2000... Could be windows xp sp2 is not supported?

Yes, we know what you're talking about. I don't see how Windows XP (SP2) could be "supported" as the game came out before it existed.

But that screen in my post right above yours, that is one I just took last night after I installed the game on XP (SP2), I ran it with no compatibility mode on or anything changed from my normal config.

This seems to indicate the problem is on your end...not with the game.

Canned response to all such topics: upgrade drivers.
