hey can some please help me on DB commander SpeehiD tall

can some one tell me where is the number to the name that is in speechid & how do you create a name in the game

an i have player in my roster i download that have the number in speechid but the name is not call in the game 9519 W Hermman & 2027 Pop Mensan-Bonsu & 1082 M. Baston on & on can some one help please & where is the name in the game or in program files

You can't create a name in the game.

To assign SPEECHID numbers, you can refer to two sources:

1. The PLAYERID from the DBF files of previous games.
2. Entries in the NBA Live 07 names.dbf file.

In names.dbf, you'll find SPEECHID numbers that correspond to certain names. You can then assign these names to the SPEECHID attribute in players.dbf so that a player will utilise the speech files for that particular name.

You can also open the players.dbf file from previous games and make a note of the PLAYERID, which you can then assign as a player's SPEECHID.

Basically the process involves using DB Commander to open the dbf files, make a note of the values and then making the appropriate changes in NBA Live 07's players.dbf file.
