Tip Slamming

I have been trying to tip slam ever since NBA Live 99. The COmputer does it almost every shot, but my controlled charcter can NEVER do it... Except in practice and 1 on 1, but he never gets it in!
Is there a certain button you have to press to make it jump and slam a rebound back into the ring? All my charcter does ever is grab the board and put it back in!

its all about timing, its that simple
the cpu selects automatically when u will tip slam
ive done it a few times, u just have to get a runnig start at the rim and hope the ball comes to u. cant do much about it

I have tried and tried... Do you just press "rebound" to tip slam when running at the basket?

You shouldn't need a run up...
Webber and Mourning don't need one.. They just jump up and dunk!

You basically need a clear lane and hope the ball bounces to you.
A good place to try it is the 1 on 1. Take D.Miles and put up a J round the ft line, and turbo towards the hoop and jump he will jump to slam it but the rebound goes the wrong way usually, for this to work the defender has to jump to try to block you.

Yeah I can do it in 1 on 1, but I have never even seen my charcter ( ihave player lock on) even go into the motion for it...
Has anyone done it in an actual game? They shoud've included a button that makes you do it every time... Add more excitment!
PLus the cpu characters do it constantly with no run up what so ever
