I've come back from the dead after jumping off a cliff. WOOHOOOO!!!!!!

Fri Apr 27, 2007 3:44 pm

We cant get to excited now, the Suns know the speed to play at next game and will come out much better. But hopefully the lakers can play the same game they did tonight. get offensive rebounds and go to kwame early. the defense this game for the lakers was crazy good.

Kobe Bryant ftw:)

Sat Apr 28, 2007 12:21 am

i would love to hear those words again in Game 4:

"Bryant..for the win..BANG!"

Sat Apr 28, 2007 12:45 am

I'd rather hear...

"Suns are down 30, and facing elimination."

Oh really? Which is why they beat them 3 times in last years playoffs? :D

This thread is more hilarious when the Lakers are losing.

hammertime23 wrote:K0bestar your a little ridiculous. The Suns are a tough team, and the Lakers are still in the process of rebuilding. If you were a true fan you would be a little optimistic.

Are fans not allowed to be realistic as well? K0bestar is just realistic that his team sucks.
Drex wrote:You got to be kidding, they're rebuilding, just wait a couple of years and the Lakers will be successful again. Trust me, I'm a Sixers fan

Just imagine how Knicks fans feel. Some of them might have already commited suicide. Twice.
Drex wrote:By my calculations, the Lakers will lose 172-0.

The game is not NBA Live.

Any predictions on Game 4 on Sunday?

Sat Apr 28, 2007 9:12 am

I predict

Bryant for the win...... BANG!

Well, today's the day the game gets tied up at two games a piece. I'm hoping Odom can have a strong game and that the supporting cast has enough confidence after last game. They've got to realize they've got what it takes to be able to play this team.

The problem is this though, atleast that's what I think, they're too young. They could lose focus and forget that it's their scrappy defense that made the difference. The hustle and making Phoenix slow the fuck down is what made them win. But alright, you've got the Zen Master as a coach, so here's hoping he's got them focussed enough.

I'm really looking forward to the game. Viper best not fall out on me like last night. :(

Mon Apr 30, 2007 2:29 am

As in Viper TV? Its broadcasting on ABC though. If you live in the United States that is.

Arrrggggggg, goddamit Lakers, fucking shit, bitches, stupid assholes, play fuckin defense holy shit. Balls in mouth. Slutty ass school fishes. Uggghhh

Mon Apr 30, 2007 7:56 am

Nash and Amare have been absolutely amazing in this game. Nash with 23 assists, just 1 away from tying Magic Johnson/John Stockton's record. A weird thing about that record is Stockton set it against Phoenix and Stockton set it against the Lakers. Amare looking like he's gonna have a 30/20 game.

Incredible performance.

Mon Apr 30, 2007 8:05 am

Lakers worst team ever. Period. Uggh i hate this shit. Somebody please get someone who can perform with Kobe, not these pansy, pussy, baby whiners, who cant play to save their mothers lives.

Mon Apr 30, 2007 8:15 am

Stupid Kobe fan.

Odom played his heart out, Kwame was strong in the first few quarters. They weren't tight defensively, Kobe tried forcing it a lot late in the game. Phoenix was allowed to do what they pleased.

That was the key. If they can't disrupt Phoenix, they can't win. They didn't disrupt Phoenix this evening. Good game by Kobe & Odom and ofcourse Nash with his 23 assists.

Mon Apr 30, 2007 8:17 am

WHY THE FUCK IS OUR DEFENSE SO BAD AND WHY WASN't KOBE ATTACKING IN THIS GAME???????? WHY IS OUR TEAM SO FUCKING BAD???? A;SDKLFJA;LSDKFUPOIWEURPQOIWEJRM/.,FSA;DLKFJ'ASKDLF

Try being a Laker fan. Thats all im saying.

And Lakerskobe247 im glad someone else shares my pain.

Mon Apr 30, 2007 8:23 am

Your suggestion to me was to be a Laker fan?

Guys, excuse me while I die of laughter.

Mon Apr 30, 2007 8:25 am

No im saying if you were a laker fan you will see how depressing and the pain you feel when your team plays horribly.

With all due respect, I disagree. It ALL comes down to energy and focus for the Suns...they got out to that 11-0 lead in Game 3 and they just lost their focus, and they could never re-gain it. The Suns, especially Amare and Nash, were visibly pissed off coming into Game 4. Amare told the press that he had "something special" planned for Kwame, and he backed it up with his rediculous performance.

Lakers can't beat the Suns...only the Suns can beat the Suns.

Mon Apr 30, 2007 8:32 am

Being a Laker fan, not a Bryant fan, I do feel hurt when the team doesn't win. That's not something I've got to convince you of. Just the way you're reacting reminds me of a suicidal emo kid that didn't get the tampon of her choice on a heavy flow day.

I somewhat agree with you Dro, but not totally. I feel that LA can beat them. I don't think Phoenix per se lost focus because of that big lead, I think the scrappy play of LA is what frustrated them and lead to their loss. They held them to 89 points, I'd say defense had something to do with it.

Amare did pour in a wonderful performance, no doubt, but had something special in store for Kwame? I thought he would totally shut down Kwame or something, Kwame held his own. I was impressed. And I don't even like Kwame.

Another player who has totally won over my heart...not just now, pretty much from the start is Andrew Bynum. I love the kid & I'm very very very glad LA didn't part with him to obtain Kidd. :)

Oh, the irony of that statement.

Mon Apr 30, 2007 8:55 am

This is all too funny.

Lakers fans are whining about their plight, when only a matter of years ago the Lakers were a dynasty. The Lakers have the second most championships of any team in the NBA and we're whining about how much the team sucks? Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Nash for MVP. Nowitzki has done jack in the playoffs. Too bad the votes are already cast.
