crashing in the beggining of the second sesson when i re-sig

Do you get an error message when the game crashes? If so, what is it?

Well, Windows will return that error message on a lot of crashes. Do you get any other error messages that mention CODEBASE or anything regarding DBF files?

Check if there are players with 0 years left on their contract, this will cause the game to crash as soon as you enter the resigning thing. I had this problem with some rosters early after the release of the game. You can change years left through dbf editor.
