Not really letting off steam here, but I have pneumonia, and feel like complete shit. Went to the doctor finally today, though, and got some medication, so hopefully I'll be better within a few days. Today would be the 14th day I've been sick.

Holy shit, I've never been sick that long in my life. The longest was probably 6 days with measels, but that was also totally out cold, I didn't even get out of bed except to pee & poo. Forget eating. Fluids are all that went in.

The only time I was sick longer was when I got mono my freshman year in college. I was on death's bed for about 6 whole weeks. It was ridiculous and I hope to God I never have to endure that again.

I got "mechoneado". It's what the second-year students do to the first-year students like me. First the cut your hair, then they throw just about anything they can find (I got milk, eggs, paint, wine, mustard, ketchup, flour, vinegar, some of us got a dick paint-sprayed in our backs), and then you have jump into a pool with...well, I had no idea what was in there, but the smell almost made me puke. Then you have to collect a certain amount of money around the city with no shoes. They asked for $13000, and that's something like US$25, that doesn't seem like much, but people gave as much as $100. I left at 10 AM, and I was back home at 7PM, wit my feet covered in blisters.

Do you guys have anything like that in you schools or colleges?

we used to drex...my high school soccer team got investigated after one of the younger athletes' parents saw his back was bruised to shit...and it was from the "hazing" rituals. The kid didnt care, but the parents did so there was a big fuss.

As for college, every frat does that shit, they just have to be more careful now and less obvious because they're really cracking down on hazing that could cause physical harm...embarassment is fine, but danger is not apparently...

an asian frat at my school had pledges come from a school up north who wanted to start a chapter of their own at their school. they played a ridiculous game of football with no pads, full contact, and it was like 40 on 10 or something like that. one dude got tackled and didn't get up. DOA at the hospital. so sickening. I probably would've never joined one in my 4 yrs here, but that's just not right man. the kid was only 19.

I hate college, I hate reports and I hate cases where I have to figure out if a guy is allowed to put anti ram poles in front of his shop without the proper permits and what he should've done to obtain those permits and which section of the law it falls under and which judge is supposed to give the ruling and how much he should be fined if he was wrong...arrrrgh.

On another note, I love Red Bull. Don't know about wings, but it sure did give me a boner.

You studying law are you? If yes, then me too. Not studying the same as you at the moment though. Still making my way through contract and torts. What subject does that stuff fall under? Contruction, public policy???

I'm doing my second year right now, contracts and agreements made under the work place usually fall under either "Bedrijfsadministratie" or "Bestuurskunde". Atleast those are the Dutch terms (classes) in which we've dealt with those two issues. Right now I've got "Handelsrecht" which is basically business law, copyrights, trademarks on products/symbols etc.

The report for today was for Staatsrecht, that's basically about the government, what their capabilities are, who checks who, to what extent, what mediums are they allowed to use to penalize someone if they did wrong, where exactly under which law is that written etc etc etc. Fucking boring man. Especially since it's in old school Dutch.
