Okay well I'm not sure this is in the right section or not so please forgive me if it's not, but I have a wild idea to have an NFL mod for Live 07 where we have cyberfaces, jerseys, courts (or u could say field since its possible to make it grassy) and other cool stuff. Now I know u might say, "just get madden" but I think it would be cool to do something like this. I know I dont have many posts and all but I really wanna be involved in a project. So if your interested in helping out, thatd be great.

ok for those who don't understand, basically im saying we can have real life nfl players in the game NBA Live 07. We can make cyberfaces of the players, have courts, portraits, jerseys, other stuff. It's an idea im throwing out there to see if people like.

OK. That's pretty much what I figured.

And if you like football, I could see why you would likely dig this idea.

Personally, I hate football. The only sport I hate more than football is baseball. So friggin' boring.

EDIT: I just want to stress that I am only expressing my views on football and baseball in general, not my view on this patch. Like I said, it's a fine idea if you like football.

I don't know anything about NFL (it's not a popular sport in France), but this project looks to be a very good idea !

Hmm, sounds like a project I had in mind back when I still played Live 06. My NFL project was inspired by Cable's hockey jerseys back then.Trust me man, it's gonna be very time consuming, and finding good pictures for the football players to do cyberfaces is very difficult. I tried doing my fav team, the Atlanta Falcons, and it just couldn't be done. You need to assemble a team where one member specializes in a certain patching aspect. I'll be willing to help out with the roster stuff, so if you need help in regards to that, just PM me. But kudos to you for trying to put it into motion and good luck.

no offence, but i think this isn't a very good idea and i'll explain.
not trying to put anyone down or anything, but whats the point of playing a basketball game with basketball nets with a basketball running around with basketball rules with football jerseys and a field(with a basketball net on the grass)?
try to imagine it.... not very good...
thats just my opinion, you can still go ahead with this project if u feel the need.

I don't have 07, but I think this is an awesome idea.

Get teams of say, 7 players from each NFL team, design the jerseys, make the cyberfaces, and IMO keep the courts as courts - just with NFL team logos. Have it similar to Jao's street project. Fouls turned way down or off, have players reflect their real life abilities in football but slightly "converted" to basketball skills.

I like.

You could make jerseys like this, no numbers (far quicker to make, especially in Live 07 + you can make the resolution 512x512 or even 1024x1024 with no problems) and a "practice" type feel. I won't be part of this project if it happens because I don't have 07, but I just made a quick mock up to explain.



Don't laugh at my stripes Anyway, no numbers IMO is the way to go, and I left that little embossed area around the name like the NFL jerseys. Hopefully this can help you guys with your ideas.

as for cyberfaces, i have access to EVERY player's headshot from the NFL Media website...the heads are around 500x700 pixels so CFs and portraits would be no problem...

also I was planning on making 1 MLB, NHL, and NFL team for Street 07, so if I could use some of your CFs and ratings that'd be a big help for that.

Flite, nice jerseys, and I kinda agree on 7 players from each team since all the players would obviously be too much. I would really like to have numbers on the jerseys, but I know it's hard because you have to make custom ones for Chad Johnson and Carson Palmer for example.

for courts you guys can prolly just use a design like the endzones for the baselines..then team logos for center court..change referee uniforms like nfl ones..for the names of the courts maybe just use stadium names?

Could you PM me the heads? I'd be interested in helping out pushing out bheds. I can start with the browns (who now have jamal lewis) because no one else probably wants to do that crappy team.

K well as a starting point I guess, I did some jersey switches for the players who got dealt or signed with another team this off-season in the NFL. I'm making them as portraits. Here is a couple previews...
