NBA live Dynasty Mode overall wishlist

"Rookies" (from created rookies of EA)

1. there are too much international players joining the draft, limit it to 5 international players per draft year
2. Asian rookies do not look like asians, they looked caucasians in the past nba lives
3. Proper created rookie heights
C- 6'10 onwards
PF- 6'8 onwards
SF- 6'7 onwards
SG- 6'5 onwards
PG- any

most created sg's are too short (usually 6'1, 6'2, 6'3)

4. Logical Player Ratings- I do not get why some guards are so slow, no dribbling or sometimes centers who could not even dunk or whose strength is lower than a guards strength, what i mean by this is C's should have characteristics of a center same goes with the others, here are some tips on what every player are expected to have

C- rebounding, blocking, dunk, inside scoring, strength
PF- rebounding,inside scoring, dunk, strength, blocking
SF- speed, inside/outside scoring, dunking,jumping
SG- speed, outside shooting, jumping, dunking, jumping, quickness, dribbling, passing, steals
PG- speed, outside shooting, jumping, dunking, jumping, quickness, dribbling, passing,steals

This does not mean that they should have all those but atleast some important ones that every player should have
another is how come some guards who could dunk does not have jumping? how is that possible? it does not make sense

5. Rookie Faces

The faces of rookies EA makes in dynasty mode sucks

why not make people who looks normal, i mean like why not use simple hair styles, normal faces. Like buzz hair styles, or semi bald, or whatever with proper gears. Because some rookies have all these gears that does not look good like too much sleave and all that.


6. This goes for freestyle superstars

What makes a great player great? by being able to do a lot in all aspects of the game!

yeah they give us free style stuff but we are not able to use them all in one game, which we should be able too... It sucks cause for example, LeBron James he dunks he does crazy passes he also do some fade away stuff all in one game. But in nba live we could only use one lebron isnt lebron w/o all those... so i am suggesting that since the black button for xbox is quite useless since you have off ball switch already, why not make
it the "freestyle switch" so hold black button then use the dpad to choose what type of freestyle you wanna use for the player... i think that would be cool.

7. Player Presence

there must be a player presence/popularity/rating or whatever, what i mean is players should also get intimidated if shaq is guarding them or whatever because sometimes i could just let gerald wallace dunk on shaq or what ever, and it sucks... also like people could shoot over tough defenders easily

8. scout rookies why not make a "summer league" where you put rookies you scouted on a 5 on 5 game?

9. Training should be like in fight night round 2,3 where you lift weights or whatever ea could think of something where the player would be stronger or quicker depending on how he trained if he trained well or not

I can see not in every draft but once in a while you might get a player or two who is say a 6'2 or 6'3 sg and a 6'5" but not as much as they have them. I can live with a 6'4" SG but 6'5" is good. i can even live with a 6'6" SF.

That's already a feature of NBA Live 07.

I do not know if you have noticed this but in my dynasty most of the rookies are white men. Strange isn't it

when is live 08 coming out?

i wish they could implement the players rating they have for the 360 in the pc version as well

but i have a feeling many of ya peoples ideas are not gonna make it to the team and once again EA gonna dissapoint us just like very other year i already got used to it... its been 6-7 years already and we have a subpar product

It's way, way too early for any kind of concrete release dates. I assume it will be released around the usual time, probably late September or early October.
