i am using 76ers and i am in the second season. i acquired dwyane wade in the off season. i also made some trades in the first season. so here is my line up

C: Eddy Curry
Pf: David Lee (I tweaked his stat a little bit but he has no FSS)
Sf: Andre Iguodala
Sg: Dwyane Wade
Pg: Deron Williams

Bench:
Kyle Korver - Sg/Sf
Kelenna Azubuike- Sf/Sg
Randy Foye -Sg/Pg
Andrew Bynum - C
Will Conroy - Pg
Steven Hunter - Pf/C
Taric (rookie) - Sg

Can anyone make a comment on this. thanks a lot.

what kind of comments do you want?
C-Curry's better this year but not very durable, i'd look for a decent backup which hopefully bynum will become or bynum will surpass him

PF-Tweaking the stats? come on dont cheat like that. Train them like you're supposed to

SF-AI2-he's good and you're smart for not trading him, its the only thing this team has in r/l right now (just not a fan of andre miller dont think he's that good)

SG-Cant argue with wade, you're not going to get better
PG-Love it

Cap is going to destroy you if you win a couple championships though...Foye, Bynum, Dwill, Wade, AI2 will ask for a ton of money when they're on their way out. Decide who you want to keep now and make your life easier.

@dada
i acquired d. wade in the off season/ free agency. the heat doesn't resign him so there i sign him and presto i've got a superstar.
@ illini
yeah your right i shouldn't have raised his stat. hmmmn i think i gotta go with bynum and wade. its like having baby shaq and wade. i also like AI2. what do you think?

you dont even need deron when u got wade and iguodala. just use your head, charge in, and do the FSS. easy windmill dunks. you can use lee to get his 10 pts 10 rebounds a game if u want to copy his real life stats. you should get more rebounding cause curry and lee are not good.

i don't like to rely on FSS. i want to be as realistic as it can be. i dont it to be dominated by superstars. deron is mainly our playmaker and the third option after wade and iggy.

I really like Deron Williams, but for your line up I think you can lose him. Trade him for a better PF or C and trade one of them for a point guard who has the basic needs. Passing and shooting.

If it were me, Id trade Iggy (just cuz I like DWill better) and you will get an even better PF or C. Then get a SF who can shoot or atleast dunk.

Either choice is good to me, depending on who you get to balance it out. Rite now your back court is awsome but your big men lack. How you got Dwade astounds me lol, mind you, Ive never needed someone like that to win a championship hahaha.

Goodluck, hope I helped at all. :D

P.S - I play with the 76ers 2, well I play alot of teams but yeah this is one of my better line ups Ive been able to get.

These are my starters coming into the 3rd season (08-09)

C - Emeka Okafor
PF - Chris Bosh
SF - Shane Battier
SG - Ben Gordon
PG - Deron Williams

I was lucky to get Bosh, like how you were lucky to get Dwade.

likewater thats a good line up but it wouldn't work for me,

oh and ur on ya 3rd season like me

my line up is confusing

C - Patrick O'Bryant
PF - Dirk Nowitski
F - Ryan Gomes
G - Ray Allen
PG - Jammal Tinsley

this season i'm hopin i do better than make it the playoffs. :D

hahaha just a little confusin lol what team are you Larosco?

Yeah I dont think everyone plays the same style, I just feel comfortable playing a shooter team myself. Making the passes and having alot of good shooters.

As for my big men, I like defensive stoppers, Blockers who can intimidate and get rebounds. Battier is such a good defender and a decent shooter that he just balances the team, I think of him as a co-captain, while Ben gordon is my Captain.

I like Nowitski, we all know he can shoot. But if I put him in my line up, Id sacrifice a big blocker for a shooter. I have three already, so even tho he is really good, he wouldnt fit my style of play.

My style is pass and play or drive and pass, allowing me to always get a open man.

what is ur style of play?

@ larosco

i don't think that i can play with ryan gomes as a stater. he is very slow for me. i want my sf to be quick and a dunker and a defender too. and i think that you must upgrade your center. Patrick O'Bryant will be owned by almost every center on the other team.

@ ~LikeWater~
:D a defensive minded frontcourt and an offensive minded backcourt. Bosh is a beast inside the paint so as Okafor. i also like battier. i think having gordon and dwill is redundant. dwill is a playmaker but can score too, like gordon. you can trade your sg for a dunker like "iggy". hahaha

@ crimsoncloud

%100 agree with you with bosh and okafor. If my shooters are off or the defense gets drawn out becuse they are shooting well, then thats wen I can put to use those 2. They can both dominate one on one situations, especially Bosh. the backcourt arent just there to score, they draw out the defense and put pressure on them, making it easier for them or a big man to score. Therefore a higher field goal %.

As for getting a dunker like iggy. Sure dunks are exciting and awsome, but a highflyer isnt as important to me as a clutch shooter who can nail the 3 on the buzzer. Besides I traded iggy for bosh, along with other players to fill up the cap hahaha, that was in my 2nd year. I like Iggy, but he just didnt cut it when it came to clutch.

If you wanna make your team ever better but a lot less fun to play as, trade Bynum and Foye for LeBron

Otherwise, D-Wade and Deron W are gonna be hard to share the assists, unless u make Wade and Iggy the scorers, Lee and Curry Stoppers and Deron W a playmaker.

Have fun and good luck

i don't think that i will trade bynum and foye for lebron coz in 2-3 yrs i have so many superstars and it will hurt my salary cap. i want to be off the cap so it is realistic.

i think you play melo as an sf and lebron as sg. he can handle the ball better than melo! or you can trade melo for bosh and marshall for a shooter sg.
your line up will be like this
swift
bosh
lebron
shooter sg (or giricek)
ai

melo will demand you money when you resign him.try to play as realistic as it can.i think having melo and lebron is okay but adding ai in the team will hurt your salary cap in a few years time.
