jimmy vs nlsc roster

Hi,just got this game few days ago. I read about jimmy and nlsc roster patch, but i can't decide which is better. So i created a poll to make up my mind.

if you want lots of eye candy(teams, courts) go for jimmy's roster but if youre just using the roster to create a dynasty imo you should go for nlsc.

agreed, Jimmy's work is good, but it takes over your entire NBA Live installation. Andrew's roster is just that, a roster, it doesn't replace default or original files. When you replace original files you can't play online and you can sometimes have conflicts with other patches that will cause crashing.

Do not want to affect anyone's choice, but just to carify
IRPT roster does not replace any original file automatically and so do NOT affect online play
it just included the arts for missing players, new teams, and anyone can deny to overwrite any files as the install does not install any arts files, but just the roster saves

My opinion, the NLSC roster. Simply because he has been doing it for longer. Andrew does his best to balance players' ratings based on in-game play and simulated statistics. It also doesn't require you to have other patches installed.
If you are using Jimmy's gameplay fix, it should work better with the IRPT roster, though.
From personal experience, both rosters play pretty well.
You should grab them both, and play a few games with each, then make your own decision on which one you like better.

To restore their original files, because some people may simple copy their saves to this folder so that when they press restore roster in-game, the roster still up-to-date
and it is not included in roster , but in gamefix, so that i add a line in gamefix
[to fix dynasty appearance mismatch and crash], it is because of this reason

maybe you need to search a little bit? i bet even my 6year old nephew cant miss those two roster patch.

i tried both roster, both are really good. But vince carter and michael jordan can't dunk from free throwline in nlsc roster. Is this for balancing issues?

I wasn't aware neither could dunk from the free throw line in my update, I was under the impression they had the appropriate dunk packages. I'll have to check that out.

i have yet to see a legit dunk from the free throw line without aiact editing in this game.

I have yet to see a decent game comes out of the LIVE' series in recent years...
