Seushiro, does this version get rid of the up and under layup which acted as a dunk in the last version?

just a quickie post(wrong place to post, i know), but does the DANet thing still come in handy, even for the newly updated jerseys? if not, ill just continue getting patches and adding them to sgsm regularly.

Jao, I already got the moneyball working. I just wanted to know if I could get the all star ball working for the all star game only. But it's the same ball for dynasty, all star, exhibition and so on. So the answer to that is no.

I fixed the problem with the three pointers. . . yeah i had like 50 blocks in one game since i predicted they would always launch a three. . .

hm, fix the jumping problem too, i find that when i try to block shots from beyond the arc, my character does a weird jump unlike when its trying to block closer in... oh and don't forget the passing glitch

New AIACT is out This gets rid of the inbound glitch. . . I'll review on the blocking problem to see how it works. . .

The latest installment is out and I think I made it big here now I really want to find my nba live 04 and do animations there too. ..
This Ultima AIACT for 2005 changes:
- Movement Animations
- Blocking Animations
- steal Animations
- Shot Animations
- Dribble Animations

sorry guys cant change pass and dunk. . . Pass animations from newer lives hang the game. . . The dunks dnt work only the lay-ups I think its because of Live 06's lay up button and dunk button system. . . Live 07 animations cannot be use for different encryption. . .

Scorer--20 i think it would be better to change the dunk pack of Dwight Howard and guys like him. . . Carmelo and Wade also use the same Dunk Pack and their dunks will be affected. . . But I'll see what I can do for the next Ultima release

Wow Seushiro, this is awesome. In my opinion, the best patch ever for NBA Live 2005.

I noticed plenty of animations in one game of play I had never seen before, it was crazy. Crossovers were great (I noticed at least 3 new ones), the new shots are perfect, and dunking is near perfection. Fast breaks are working properly without the defence catching up.

I'm amazed.

The only things I can think of that need fixing:

The up and under layup that finishes as a dunk. The player dunks the ball through the bottom of the rim, gotta lose that.

A bug I noticed (may of just been the game I was playing), when sprinting back on defence sometimes the player froze in one "pose" but still moved at sprinting pace. Not a big deal though.

One of the bounce passes that never seem to go to the teammate, usually intercepted. The pass usually happens directly after a steal.


All in all, a great patch. I'm extremely surprised by the lack of comments. Great work Seushiro (Y) (Y)

Yup I used 06 animations since the encryptions are the same. . . To bad for the new 06 dunks and passes like the Baseballpass it hangs the game even before you play it. . .

Here is version two with more new features:
- Bigman Bank Shots, Tim Duncan types, (BIGMAN Left jumper)
- Floater With Bank Shot (Leaner)
- Fade away late release modified to a hold shot gesture
- Quick thinking AI (good as cpu team mates when player locking and as opponents)
- Fixed up and under lay up dunk glitch. . .
- Added some animations that were needed cause the old version hangs in player introductions.

Cannot wait to try this out. I'm gonna play a game and edit this post with feedback, awesome work on this AIACT man. Thing I love the most about it is the fact you always take peoples opinions into consideration and correct the problems very quickly.

Good luck with those new animations, hopefully you get them to work (Y)

EDIT: Gameplay was great, all bugs solved, even the running one. Very realistic, love the new dribble animations and shots. Bank shots and one handed runners add a new dimension to the gameplay, excellent AIACT. The fast breaks are absolutely perfect!

Only thing that I can think of that could be changed is just to make the computer take more time off the clock. I noticed in this version the computer tends to shoot early, but they were smart shots. A love the way the computer uses time management, before the patch the computer would shoot with 3-4 seconds left from long distances, now they use a combo of passing and dribbling to get as close as possible before launching the buzzer beater. They will also take advantage of you not getting back on defence with quick baskets.

Definitely, Seushiro has been an excellent addition to the 05 community!

Seushiro, quick question, there is no editing involved in any of your aiacts, right? All of them, you just put into the correct folder? I could have sworn that for one release, we had to use db editor or something?

Fantastic AIACT and Animations. I played my best game ever with 84/85 Boston Vs. Houston. At the end of the game, Larry Bird took over but his 28 points were not enough to beat Ralph Sampson's 28 points as Houston won by a point.
You will cause many to dig their 05's out of the closet as the NCAA Mod is forthcoming also.

Seushiro, just played another couple games. I noticed that the up and under layup turned dunk is still there, but it occurs very rarely.

I played 2 full 12 minute quarter games and it happened just once, where as it used to occur 6-7 times a game.

Its fine as is because it is very rarely occuring but the AIACT would be a tad better without it. The shot that big men take when the grab an offensive rebound, move away from the basket with their back to it, and sorta flick it up backwards should also go to.

Great work though, looking forward to see if you can get those other animations working (Y)

EDIT: Played another game, Toronto vs Washington.

Anthony Parker took a 3 almost everytime he got the ball, contested or not. I tried it with default AIACT and this was not the case, so I wasn't my roster. He finished with something like 40 points almost all on 3's. I checked my rosters and scrolled to Anthony Parkers THREEPTATT and it was at a resonable 20 (20% of his shots will be 3's throughout a season). I played good defence on him and even tried double teaming but he just kept firing them up, and making them. I also tried lowering the CPU's Long Range FG slider to no avail.

He shot well over 40% probably about 60%. In my roster his 3 point rating was 81, I have revised that and lowered it to 72, hopefully that helps solve the 3 point barrage.
