Blending Tools (Photoshop experts, read)

Sat Aug 30, 2003 5:33 am

I'm starting to make cyberfaces of rookies but the problem is that my blending isn't too good. I can't seem to match the color of the picture to the color of the bhed (check pictures below). :|

Here is the picture I used:

The result :(

Like you see on the bhed above, I used the "Smudge Tool" but it doesn't always give good results because the player detail is lost (for example, his dimple is no longer there and his face expression is gone).

So if anyone here would like to give some tips, I need is someone to list what type of Photoshop tools I can use for blending. Thanks for the help.

If you have the full version there should be a tool called 'blend' to use. And also don't use the smudge/blend tool on the entire pic that you used, just around the edges of the pic so you can't tell where it starts.

I would suggest finding an existing cyberface that has a similar complexion, then blending that with the new face. Much, much easier that way.

he's a white boy, so use a white boy's bhed.
then play around with the hue tool abit if it helps u match the colours.
then use the clone brush to bring it all seemlessly together :)
