Tue Feb 13, 2007 5:13 am

Everytime I open a .fsh file with FshX i get this:

How do I fix that blue?

I need some help.

How do I change my headshape?

I can't import the .png I had for my portrait, when I put it in .bmp I have the background.
How do I import the background-free .png into my .fsh file? It only takes .bmp's and something like dds.?

That blue is needed, to prevent the faces being over shiny. It's called the alpha layer. Just export the file you want to change as a bmp.

But it's still too shiny

Search for PDub's tutorial on how to fix the shine problem.

Actually, it does import png files. You have to type in the name of the png when you are choosing a file to import. You can also type *.png and it will show all the png's in that particular directory.

Yeah I got that through tutorial and I actually managed to fix the shine and get a new headshape. (Y)

I've got one more question:

When you give a player a headshape and hair....
you need to open three files....
playergrb.viv
playergrc.viv
playergrd.viv

now.........
Which one of them is for headshape and which one is for hair?

Those are only headshapes. The hair is in the plyrgrb.viv, plyrgrc.viv, and plyrgrd.viv files.

B is high quality, C is medium quality, and D is low quality. If you play only on high quality, there i no reason to use teh C and D files unless you are releasing to the pubic.

hold on, hold on.........

i messed up. There is no playergrb/c/d.viv.

There's only playrgrb/c/d.viv.

And those are only for hair, right?

So which ones are for headshapes?
