My Roster Patch

Postby LukeDogg on Thu Nov 28, 2002 6:46 am

Hi Folkz,

i know that there are about a hundred different roster patches out there right now, but anyway i decided to make up my own one.

What i tried to do is get the best information on the different roster patches out there and try to combine them into one.

If you would like to try it out please leave a msg with your email, i will send it to you then, or send me an email directly at gzumaglini@web.de
or try if me ftp is up at ftp://nba:live@lukedogg-no-ip.com:21

When you have tried it, please post your questions and suggestions here in this thread.

Thanks!

p.s. sorry if my english is bad, im from germany :)

These are the results from the last game i played with my actual Patch:

Entire Game Washington Houston

Points 104 103
Bench Scoring 25 15
Field Goals 39/85 43/77
Field Goal % .459 .558
3 Point FG 8/19 6/19
3 Point % .421 .316
Free Throws 18/31 11/14
Free Throw % .581 .786
Rebounds 52 36
Off. Rebounds 19 2
Def. Rebounds 33 34
Blocks 1 0
Steals 4 9
Assists 21 25
Turnovers 11 8
Fouls 14 22

My Suggestions for the patch right now:
- Blocks are very good, you really need a good timing to block shots
- 3pts maybe need to be tuned down a little more, but it depends on how youre defense is, when you get your hands up you can really change the outcome of the shot, if you leave the shooter open he will make you pay the most of the time, i think thats the way it should be
- fg percentage is basically the same as i mentioned on 3pts, check it out and tell me
- steals are fine, dont make no stupid passes though :)
- i think the speed for pg's and sg's needs to be tuned a little bit down, let me know what you think
- gotta do something about the off. rebounds, i kill the cpu every time

things i have tweaked:
- speed and quickness are relevant in order to height, weight and original speed
- jumping the same, bigger guyz dont need to jump high, so jump rating is lower for them
- fg*0,89
- dunks-10
- steals-15
- blocks-25
- inside scoring*0,85
- primacy*0,75
- fatigue*0,75
- hardiness-15
- strength is based on height and weight, the more bigger and heavier the more stronger
- def. ability*1,1

My Game Settings are:

8 min. quarters
Simulation
All Rules on
Def. Fouls -2 From Max. Right
Off. Foul -2 From Middle
Superstar

My Roster Patch is based on jaredhartung's roster patch.

Hope to hear from u guyz!

Sudi529@aol.com

I think if you do FG by 0.75 and 3's by 0.8 you will get good FG %.

Coudl you possibly do that, and then send me the roster?

How did you and the computer manage only one block in the game? From my experience, guys with zero block rating still block with regularity if their jump rating is decent. Since you didn't change the jump rating, there should have been more blocks, at least from your computer teammates. Stackhouse alone should have had 5 or 6.

Sorry, youre right.

I changed the jump rating, of course.

It's based on Height+Weight.

Any suggestions so far? Has any1 played some games with the Patch?
