well for me im using andrew's roster and i edited plays for each team in my dynasty. coz im too lazy to start again a new dysnasty for jimmy's current orster update. all i did was extract jimmy's dynasty setting and i use pdub's aiact and chirs_23's simulation fix. i say my dynasty is doin fine. all in all its how you guard the pg when he's walking from the half court to 3pt. line coz that's the time its deciding if he will shoot, penetrate or execute a play.

Dirkz41, install new gamefix, then put plays.dbf and teamplayfixnoinjury in your dynasty folder! Run teamplayfixnoinjury and then play your dynasty!

But remember gamefix 9_02, only 100% works with IRPT 4.05 roster!

Yo jimmy, this gamefix 902 works good for me, the PG dishes the ball a lot more often, but one thing I notice is the PG takes the ball down the court, waits in the back court until the shot clock is at 4, then he tries to dribble and pulls up and shoot it from way back, not even passing the ball once in the possession :\ (This happens probably 1/10 times for me)
Though, I would be glad to test the new one if you need any testers though

Hey Jimmy, the patch is great, but there's one problem, team strategys
since I installed the patch, all teams use the strategy of shooter A on offense and full court man to man on deffence, maybe i didn't installed it right or is that a problem on the patch?
Sun Jan 28, 2007 6:18 pm
sure you installed it wrong.....i do not use shooter a and full court man to man at all!
it is the original EA's team strategy for all team...
so, you did not installed the patch

that's weird, i did everything with the instructions
install the roster patches, then the two game fix EXE files, and then put the play.dbf and templayfix inside the the two files of saves fatigueNOinjury and fatigueinjury. but, i didn't put the settings file because i want to start a new dynasty
so what do in need to do?

o...that's weird too.......
you follow everything in the instruction but you simply put the play.dbf and templayfix inside the the two files of saves fatigueNOinjury and fatigueinjury
BUT WITHOUT
run the teamplayfix.bat that MENTIONED in the instruction
Sun Jan 28, 2007 7:16 pm
oh.. i ran the teamplayfix..
so what should i do? extract them again without run the files?
and i've got one more question. the gameplay settings changed alot after instlling the patch, can i change them or even restore the defualt setting?
Sun Jan 28, 2007 7:30 pm
No problem Jimmy!

Waiting for 9.1!
Sun Jan 28, 2007 7:32 pm
one more time, put teamplayfix.bat inSIDE your saves and run it
you can change the detail setting, some of the slider setting (i mentioned in page 1 this thread, some don't touch)
if you want to restore default setting, of cuz you can , but the gamefix would be totally useLESS for you.............
Sun Jan 28, 2007 7:34 pm
I did that, but still the strategy's are still the same

Hey Jimmy, I asked you a series of questions and you didn't answer. Perhaps you didn't see my post, so I'll post the important questions again. If you saw my post and you didn't want to answer me, just let me know. I'm fine with that, because I know you don't have to answer my questions.
T-Wave wrote:Jimmy, what exactly did you modify in the plays.dbf? I looked at the one that was installed in my game already, and the one you placed in your gamefix installation, and I couldn't find the difference. Also, you have a bunch of files being installed in database in a folder called OrigdbXbx What do these do?
I'm just trying to find out what I'll be doing when installing your patch before doing so. I prefer doing things the old school way, by placing the necessary files in the necessary folders myself, that way, I know exactly where to troubleshoot when/if I have a problem.

sorry, i missed out your past
Origdb , for reference of the game
plays.dbf, it's 06's one, not big diff from 07 but the seqence database insert by the maker of EA is not the same, and it do solve some play call problem
i do not recommend the old school way as it is inconvenient for most people
thats all of my answer
I did that, but still the strategy's are still the same
if you follow and understand my instruction, everything should work fine
so i think the fix not work for you (and the strategy just STAY EA's ORIGINAL team strategy........i.e. no change to off/def strategy)

I didn't understand what you say at the end
I think I did everyting like in the instructions
put the teamplayfix.bat into the saves folders, i move the files from the folders into the original folders and run the files
Sun Jan 28, 2007 8:08 pm
Thanks for answering my questions Jimmy. I think you misunderstood one of the questions though. The folder I was talking about was OrigdbXbx, not Origdb. What do the files in the OrigdbXbx do?

move the file inside your saves, like my documents\saves\fatigueroster\ and run it!

reference by the game too
Sun Jan 28, 2007 8:17 pm
that's what i did jimmy
the teamplayfix.bat is inside Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\NBA Live 07\saves\FatigueNOinjury, then i run it
but it's still the same

how abt the cdbflite.ini and cdbflite.exe? put these file also in
Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\NBA Live 07\saves\FatigueNOinjury
together with teamplayfix.bat and run teamplayfix.bat
then use a dbf editor, maybe excel to open the teams.dbf to check whether OPMAIN and DPMAIN field is NOT "0"
Sun Jan 28, 2007 8:30 pm
oops.. I'm affriad I didn't understand everything
I put ONLY teamplayfix.bat inside the saves folder, and i didn't even load the fatigueNOinjury in the game
thanks jimmy!
and what editor? i didn't understand that
Sun Jan 28, 2007 8:39 pm
nevermind abt the editor, now the patch work for you, good try

though i need to re-mention my instruction day-by-day to different people
Sun Jan 28, 2007 9:04 pm
thanks
oh and one more thing about the settings. you said that it's not good to touch the rebounding sliders, but you put the computer rebound ability on 0.. it looks like you made the user a better, or i'm wrong?

if you want players to fly to the sky to grap the rebound, you may set it to a higher value
set it to 0 means to depend on the rebound rating of the player
Sun Jan 28, 2007 9:23 pm
oh ok, now I get it
again, thank you
