If you look in CD2 of the game, you will find a file called 1compressed.zip. Open that with either Winzip or Winrar; then go to /Database/Origdb/ and copy 'bracketdata.dbf', then go to the folder on your computer and replace the file that get's the error, with the file from CD2.
If that doesn't work, I have no idea what will..

sorry about the second thread but you can hel me?
Thu Nov 10, 2005 4:46 pm
if that error is exact than there's something else wrong because the file should be here:
C:\documents ands settings\administrador.familiar\misdocumentos\NBA LIVE 06\database\workingdb\bracketdata.dbf
pls double check the folder structure.

i chek the folder and the zip in the nº2 cd and there isn`t a file called bracketdata.dbf
if you like a can send you a copy of my 1compresed.zip dile so you can chek and se what`s goin`on
beside that i`m clueless
thanks

return the cd and get a new copy.

Here's the bracketdata.dbf from my CD2:
http://rapidshare.de/files/7472504/bracketdata.dbf.html
Check if it works now...
By the way, where you installed the game there is a database folder also (Database/Origdb), you could try to replace the bracketdata.dbf in there also (just remember to back up before doing anything to that folder)

the name is just for button configuration normally. try creating your own profile for that and mapping all the keys.

This might be a very old thread but I have a similar problem as the op. I get the same error except its for a file called "jukebox.dbf". Instead of starting a whole new thread and explaining the problem from scratch, I thought it might be better that I just reply on this thread after doing a search. If somebody could possibly put that file up, it would be great. Thanks people.
btw, the location of it is \NBA LIVE 07\database\workingdb for me. I found the file on the cd but for some reason, it doesn't copy. I tried several times.
