Ok, that's why Troy Hudson misses so often his layups under attack...
back to the envelope

i know the editing guides, but "Used for player development, assigned by game in Franchise Mode" is not all the information i would like to know.
envelope rating seems to go from 0 to 29 and it seems that players with good careerpkgs will have lower envelope ratings. and it seems that somebody (eddie griffin at my actual rockets dynasty f.e.) with "0" in envelope will go two points up after the season (tested).
can you give me an exact overview about the scaling and the conclusion between careerpackage and envelope? for example, a player with an "A" careerpack has a 10% chance of getting an "0"-envelope and a 10% chance of getting more than 9 env.points? does envelope or does careerpackage effect progress in the end? i have problems to explain what i mean... my english is not very well, sorry for that
i would like to know how playerprogress is really calculated by the programm.
and i have a question about an own urban legend

is there a chance of negative effect for player progress if you sign up big long-term-contracts?

many players become lazy with six safe years
