drop step/pro hop

Hi..i have a ps2 joypad for pc but i don't want to use the analogic mode..hi have set the generic profile with X=pass,0=shot,Triangle=dunk,Square= lay up,R1=turbo,R2=direct pass,L1=Crossover,L2=super star and i don't have change the quickplays.

what can i do to perform drop step and pro hop(and also back down)??

i got told on here its tappin the right stick down,but its never worked for me.....

quazza, its hold the right analog UP to pro hop this year with the new separation of dunk/layup. However, i've yet to be able to get the hang of it. Usually i either turn it over or get called for the foul so i just find other ways to penetrate/create space. Not realistic i know that its a useless move, but you cant win em all i guess.

That's what the instruction manual says in the PC version (push down on the right analog stick), but I can't get my post players to drop step/back down at all, nor can I get any spin moves to work.

u gotta hold on the right thumbstick UP for 2 secs at least

You have to hold up for a few seconds, rendering the maneuver entirely worthless.

Is it possible to pro hop/drop step using keyboard controls for PC? I can't seem to find out how :/

I might be wrong but there should be a button you hold to do freestyle moves. Try holding that while holding the up button.
