patching rosters

can someone tell me how to patch rosters? =/

through dbf edit or manually in the game

Updating the rosters basically consists of creating missing players, editing ratings, jersey numbers, positions etc, making trades and signings and adjusting lineups to reflect their real life counterparts. Player data that cannot be modified from within the game can be edited using programs such as DB Commander to open and edit the dbf files.
