I know someone still has this stuff. Is there one for Live 07 or Live 2005?

The box scores of 06 and 07 are identical, so it works with 07 aswell. Don't know about 2005, but I think they were the same aswell.

Hello there,

This program seems perfect for a stat-nerd like me. I have a problem though. When I run it I get a window saying:

16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

The System files is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose "Close" to terminate the application.
CLOSE IGNORE

I know its' a pc-problem, maybe because I have a 32bit processor. Do you know how I can solve this? Maybe change something in the file so it can run? (Btw I don't have Win 32)

Thanks
S

What OS are you using?

I'm using WIN XP Professional. I have the same problem with other programs too. Especially some old ones which use ms dos or something.

Will this work with other Mods? Euro, NCAA, NBL?

And is this just for Live 2006, or 05 and 07 as well?

re:

Works with live 07 too
for mods it would need modifications im afraid, although not many,
I would have to feed the new team names into the code and if there's a different amount of teams in the league it might produce bugs

I got it to work with my laptop. Very nice man, good job.. just a noob question here: Am I now supposed to save all team/player etc stats after every game and copy the .txts to the program folder in order to have it work?

RE:

Yup, you have to save the game boxscore from your schedule menu after every game.

Thu Dec 14, 2006 3:53 am

Hey Toaster.. I did that and the program recognizes most of the stats. I think it cant see the team highs, it produces random numbers... AND.. I dont know why but it counts stats only for the Home games of each team. In your save too. Am I doing anything wrong?

BTW, this is a really useful program man. It definitely deserves a good readme.txt. Please make one! :)

Edited: Calling out to Toaster!!! Where are you man!

1.0 ABOUT
This is essentialy a program designed to accomplish two main goals:
1) to give the user statistics that NBA Live 2006 does not diplay
(for example:team averages, player shot attempts per game, double doubles, efficiency ratins, ass\to ratio and more..)
2) Tracking of individual player records
(for example: tyson chandler notched a season high 34 point on november 22nd vs. cleveland)

The program also allows you to sort team and player averages per month, opponent, win or loss and home or away games.

All this in order for us virtual coaches and mangers so we can get a better more comprehensive analisys of our teams and players performance.

for example, using the program I might discover that in games where Loul Deng has started i have a 2-5 recored whereas
when Andres Nocioni assumed starting position I am 6-2. or that in wins Tim Thomas averages 10 shots more than in losses,
or that January has been Eric Basdens rookie breakout month nearly doubling his averages, or that my team is 10-2 in low scoring games.
All this data is more than good to know. I can be a powerfull aid in planing a good succesfull team strategy and in ikmproving our teams' performance.

2.0 To install simply unpack the program to the folder of your choice in the computer
you may change the main folder name to whatever you like, but:
DON'T FIDDLE WITH THE FOLDERS INSIDE!!!
upon first starting up the program you will be prompted to give it's location, this is
a one time action as the program then remembers the location.
(by virtue of a text file now convieniantly located in c:\TCBFDIR.txt, do not delete it
unless you want to give the directory every time you boot up the program);

3.0 USAGE
3.1 PREPARATION
Say you initialized save 1 and called it "Bulls" and of course picked the bulls as your team, what you need to do for the program to analyse
your box scores, is to go and MANUALLY place all of your saved box score files into *\tcbf(or whatever name you give the program folder)\save1\BOX\
don't worry if some files you transfer are double or include other games you've played, the program can ignore it,
be careful though not to place any boxscores including your chosen team that don't belong to the franchise, beacuse
they will be used.

if you want to see averages for all the teams in the league (in the "TEAM STATS" tab in the program) then you must
save the team stats from your dynasty in nba live and transfer it to *\tcbf\SAVE1\Other.
the program can also show players height, weight, position and yrs pro, for that you need to go to stats central in your dynasty
go to player stats--> sort by ratings and then save the file into *\tcbf\SAVE1\Other.

{If you find this hard to follow lookup the refrance save in the program directory}

3.2 USAGE
I believe the rest is pretty self explanatory.

4.0 KNOWN ISSUES
First of all I realize, as mentioned above, there is no display of player averages yet, this is beacuse this is not the final build.\
I've spent many many hours on this program trying to make it as user friendly and idiot proof as possible.
as of this moment I don't know of any bugs present. except of this one:
1) in the output file (located in save*\Output\teamaver.txt) the last line is cut of at the middle. will be addresed!
If you encounter any, please do inform me!!!
