Topway controller help

i have a topway controller (not famous) but it looks exactly like an ps2 controller i have my superstar trigger on the r2 button and my off-ball button on the right analog stick why can't i change my freestyle type while holding r2 and clicking right analog stick.

i am using topway it works fine with me i have the trigger on L1 and offball at right analog stick
