Freestyle with keyboard FINAL Solution

I followed your directions and added the virtual joystick, but when i click mapping to configure the joystick it says "cannot read mappings from joystick driver." Help? Thanks.

While I am trying to install PPJoy, I get this message:

“Error installing new device drivers. PPJoy ill not be operational.
You will need to manually install the device drivers.”

Does anyone know how I can solve this or how I can manually install them? Does this have to do with me having Windows XP 64?

Maybe windows 64bit is a problem but i'm not sure.

If you have any problems read the ppjoy manual and faq in the documentation it could help you.

off ball - num 6

up - keypad up
down - keypad down
left - keypad left
right - keypad right

And how can i set a key wherein i could change one's freestyle (ex. highflyer to scorer)

I made all the things with the ppjoy and works....partialy.I can make just 4 diffrent tosses(i don't know if this is the correct word) and just with the "f" and "e" keys in Markarian's configuration.When I press leftCtrl or c nothing happends.Please help!

And YES you can do them all. First i thought you can only do the STAR Moves because a keyboard CANT be analog, but then with some practice i could made all the Superstar-Moves with the Keyboard. Some Superstar-Moves are Killer-Moves and now you have them all on your Keyboard. Thank God. It's awsome!

To do the analog Movement, you need only to TAP the buttons really fast, so the best would be pressing with one hand the superstar trigger and having the other hand do the action.

My example: RIGHT CONTROL is Superstar Trigger. The analog stick is represented by R Up, T Left, G Right, V Down.
To Do a 360 Windmill with a highflyer press and hold RIGHT CONTROL while typing GR with your fingers on the left hand. It works pretty good.


Here is a hint for the ones out there who are just using a few specific FSS Moves and not want to use all of them: Just assign the SUPERSTAR TRIGGER Button with the same key you are assigning it to one direction of your virtual analog stick. Therefore you have just to press one button instead of coordinating two buttons to fullfill this movement. The disadvantage is that you can't use all of the Moves.


Stays one major Problem with the Keys:
Hopefully anyone knows a solution. You can press only FOUR keys at the same time. If you are going to do a FSS Superstar Move and you are moving directional the keys can't accept it because FIVE keys are involved.
For example:
Directional movement
1. TOP ARROW 2. RIGHT ARROW
FSS Superstar Windmill
3. Superstar Trigger 4. Z-Axis+ 5. Z-Rotation-
So for doing a FSS Superstar while moving you just can do it in one direction not directional. If someone can figure out how to change this in windows and allow pressing more than 4 keys at a time i would be glad.

Maybe you have forgotten to choose PPJOY as controller in the game.

1. Ignore it if it fails the test.
2. Can't help you with that.

Isn't there some way to just modify the keyboard controls? For MVP Baseball 2005 (http://www.mvpmods.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=25874/highlight=keyboard.html), people found out how to modify the keyboard file for the game to allow you to do certain moves. Can't we do the same with NBA Live 07's kfg files?

but how to do the freestyle play of scorer or playmaker?
i can't figure out, i tried a lot of combinations..

You can try to use "Freestyle Trigger" and "lay up" together with scorer and with the "pass" button for the playmaker

But I have one problem, I can't seem to call plays with PPjoy. It use to work fine but then after reformatting my comp, I had to re-do the ini and jfg file which resulted to this current issue.
