Graphics stuck at 640*480

Hey, ive been playing for 2 weeks with 640*480 resolution and i just cant take it anymore, i change the settings to ANYTHING and click the > arrow to accept the changes ( like usual ) but it doesnt save or change it just stays at 640 .. anyone know how to fix this?
