CPU subbed but hey... they are not gettin tired, only diop and dampier.

my players subbed well... but my starters are still on the bench on crucial minutes of the 4th. (i let the CPU sub it for me)

can't you all see what's happening? EA purposely released a beta version of the patch and they'll look at your opinions. ever wonder why it wasn't in their official site? anyway, i hope this patch works. i'm about to download it.

Yea just reinstall it and it should work fine. You won't lose any of your saved rosters/dynasties as they are in a different directory. The error maybe due to other patches you've installed, such as shoe patch, court patch, roster patch... either way this is what i did and it seems to work now.

well I have the original good old fashioned DVD andf this patch looks like it HALF works. The compueter STILL doesn't sub, yet at least now both Balkman's face and cyber are correct, AND the PG doesn't take all the shots. The loading screen on the options menu still WILL NOT slide down to enable the subs to be turned on and off thus why NO SUBS still. If this is their idea of a "final Patch, I suggest we all "find a way to take em to court........I'm gonna uninstall and reinstall from scratch and see if that helps anything (doubt it, I think this game is just FLUCKED with a capital F, and no amount of tweakings gonna fix it...)

as for me, the patch works. cpu is subbing fine BUT, for some players on some teams, fatigue is not there. as mentioned above, some players are not getting tired, for example nash, harris, hughes, carter. mostly guards.
but i "fixed" that on my own. i just dicreased the fatigue rating on these players and now they are getting tired as everyone else. i just need to find the balance.
so eveytime i play a different team, and i notice that someone's not getting tired, i change the ratings. btw, i play 10min/quarter at superstar

Patch works for me, with the same degree of success as it has for everyone else. Point Guard Dominance is killing me, as Devin Harris just lit me up for 34 points, while Dirk Nowitzki scored 12 points and Jason Terry scored 1 point. Is that realistic? Don't think so.

Also, as mentioned above, it really seems to be the frontcourt that gets tired and no one else. Oddly though it did sub for the wing players, the CPU never used Jerry Stackhouse.

Like the guy above, I also used the Miami Heat. While I had guard subs, it had more to do with an injury to J-Will (he came back), followed by foul trouble to both guards. Antoine Walker and Udonis Haslem both played too many minutes.

Overall, it needs tweaking, but at least the subs work. It's now playable...

Edit: Apon Further review this patch works gaaarrrrr......8!!! This is the best substitution logic I've seen now as the players sub into specific game situations to match their strengths. Late in this first quarter Phoenix was getting killed and swapped into a strong defensive lineup, while Atlanta merely swapped fatigued guys (since I jacked it to the moon), and it worked in getting Phoenix some momentum back. I love it now, Now we can see what we got. Place the Executable from EA (Patch ) in your 2007 folder before installing it, just to be on the safe side and there is STILL no lower half of the sliders on the options yet everything works. I just inserted my semi fix from 2006 into it and it all works great now.....

EDIT EDIT::: I DO NOT think this is even CLOSE to EA's FINAL PATCH, I think they just floated this to check out some small adjustments, after all who's better to say if somethings working or not then the people your trying to fix a relationship with.... I'd expect the "real meal deal patch" next week around tuesday.....

Yup, I've just been hanging back and checking out all the posts...

I've installed the patch and...

Subbing rarely works. Mostly Centers (CPU subbing set at 100)

PG takes less shots than before but more than they should.

Game got too easy. After a rebound, direct pass to your wing man and he's open for a 3. (I'm at default setting except for the fatigue and sub stuff - 6 minute games at superstar)

The inbound play calling works now. (sometimes) other times the pg posts and calls for the ball no matter what direction you hit.

And let's test this on Human vs. CPU - not CPU vs. CPU... it doesn't really help cause we don't play CPU vs. CPU or is that just me?

But I agree... It becomes tolerable. But is tolerable worth our hard earned cash?

Impressions on the patch:

Great Start... not quite there yet.

Needs:

1. PG domination fix
2. Suggestion on sub frequency so that it will sub right?
3. Inbound Play Calling consistency
4. More Low-posts plays for CPU or more primacy for star players. (Guess PG fix should hit this)
5. What else?

P.S. - Is all this crap some ploy to make us need to buy PS3? I'm in advertising and this seems to be a great way to advertise next-gen games. Make current gen games bugged so that we get so pissed that we need to buy the "FIXED" next gen?

On the upside - The interns that made Live 07 for PS2 gave a valiant effort and the good news is their best programers worked on the PS3 version. Should be perfect then right? I hope so... And yup, I'm pissed enough to buy PS3 for Live.

I've waited this long I can wait a few more days. This is probably a two week version of the patch and was accidentally leaked. When EA announces the patch then I'll move to it.
