NBA Live 07 Patch Petition Submitted (Update: List of fixes)

YO! i think the patch worked.. well i haven't started up the game yet but when i went to the website to download the patch it says "PATCH INSTALLED" after i clicked download.... but when i had to do it twice cause the first time it said there was an error so i did it again and the 2nd time it said patch installed and installation complete...

What i did was click on start on the right corner of windows, went to all programs, EA sports, then NBA LIVE 07 then i clicked on Check for updates where it sent me to this site...But i dunno if this is just for show or if it really installed a patch

this patch is worth shit....what are these fat mcdonald eating pale motherfuckers doing (besides eating mcdonalds all day).
whenever i watch a video and one of them fat idiots is being asked about the new features hes like "eh ah uh eh ah we have eh eh ah superstarmoves eh ah eh eh eh which make the game a lot more authentic" even they dont believe in the crap they are talkin.
I cant understand how people say "this game would be great without some major bugs"..honestly face it its year 07 and the gameplay still feels like the old "hong kong ching chang chong karate master" game on my nintendo 64.
They say themselves that they dont call their game a basketball simulation, rather a mixture of arcade and sim to make it attractive for both type of players.Are these fat cheeseburgers too dumb to realize that 99% of people want a simulation? simulation doesnt nesessarily mean it has to be super comlicated like a flight simulation for instance.
Maybe when people ask for a simulation it means fix your gameplay or better overthink your fucked up game engine every 5 years at least?..seriously do you see anyone here asking for a arcade orientated game?
nba jam 08 will be the same crap just with better graphics.

oh and about all the dynasty bugs...whats wrong with these fat lousy bastards do they really think people enjoy playing a dynasty that constantly gives you false stats (due to wrong primacy shifts etc.) as if we are 6 year old kids living in a fantasy world saying " oh look kobe bryant averages 10 points but lets pretend hes doing 30" this game is so super sucky that its not worth playing one single game to the end unless you love some arcade action then have fun with this crap.

Regarding the patch, I'm surprised nothing is mentioned about the obvious stability problems, with crashes to desktop while exiting or in the middle of a game.
I think that was part of the "major" bugs of the petition, right?

Since there's been no official announcement as of yet and the system returns an error I think it's safe to assume that while we're close to a release and the update facility has been put in place ready for the release, the patch itself is not yet available.

When I hit the "Check for Update" button, ist still shows "no patch avaible"...this is funny.

But is a simple question: 07 is a tuned 06... or am I wrong?
Even the menus are the same...

How could they make so many things worse?
There has to be a reason...

06 Scoring leaders in my dinasty are Kobe, LeBron and Dirk (Praise him, by the way). They have done it once...can't be too difficult to do a second time...

Q. If locked as a player, the CPU does not auto inbound. Inbounds are only done if one presses the pass button. This is a significant gameplay issue if one is locked as a power forward or center.

A. This is working as designed. We added the ability to call inbounds plays this year and this change means that if you are player locked you must receive the inbounds pass. This also is not going to be included in the update.

I love it how they responded to those issues that they could just say "it's working properly". They don't realize that it's not very helpful in game strategy to have a big man run from the block to the sideline to get the ball.

Plus, they didn't even mention the other 75% of the list of bugs we gave them. great.

as far as i know it only happens when you press quit game. If this is true i dont really have a big problem with it. It has never happened to me. If this happened during playing a game out of nowhere then i would have a problem with it.

Well, then I have a problem...
It didn't happen to me while exiting the game, but IN THE MIDDLE of the 4th quarter of a game, during a FT animation.

I dont know whether im allowed to say this, so i wont give links or anything. But i had the quit to desktop problem with a legally owned copy of NBA Live. So i got a no-cd crack and now it works perfectly.

Im sorry if im not supposed to mention no-cd cracks on the forums, but the game is unplayable for me without it and i want to make it clear i am not encouraging ilegal downloads of the game.

okay, i don't really want to get a no-cd crack...its against my ethics, and i wouldn't really know where to get one anyway (without risking virus). i bought the product from ea, and they should have addressed it.

Well, this is a big problem actually...how do you expect to play in dynasty mode, if you can't return to the game menu after playing a game?!?!

I know this was mentioned on the copy of the petition that I signed, why wasn't it addressed by ea? ANDREW-why did you have us post our system specs regarding this issue, if they were gonna ignore it anyway? not trying to sound angry at you,? I do appreciate all the work you've done. Its just that this is the one issue that really prevents A LOT OF PEOPLE (not just me) from enjoying the game at all...
