Home Jerseys - Why aren't they White?

There is something terribly wrong with the brightness of the white of the home jerseys. They are GREY!
This is not a good look when you're wanting the pristene crisp white look of a uniform, but instead you end up with jerseys which haven't been washed since 1992!!!!

Is there any overall fix to this that could be acheived, or do I have to download every single home jersey patch that comes out!?

Could you post a screen of your game showing a home jersey? All the pics ive seen seem fine

I took a screenshot, but the problem is, the screenshot turned out looking fine - even though it looks horrible in the game!
My bro installed the game and its the same on his machine aswell. Its just a dusty grey - but it isn't white!

You can sort of see the total greyness around everyone's stomach reigion. The only par which is white is at the tops of their shoulders!

yup, lighting is turned on.
I have seen this issue mentioned before, but not much was made of it (it wa a small note in the middle of someone elses large post!

Its just kinda stupid that the jerseys aren't white!

I suggest you get a sheet of white paper, crumple it up and then tell me if it's still plain white.

the jerseys have always been that grayish colour.

well EA darkened it so much till it looks grey coz once u turned on the lighting effect..the default texture being use will become brighter..but in this case..since it's still too dark for u afrer turning on lighting..then i think u gotta wait for major jerseys update..

headbands and shoes white, socks and jerseys grey, just like the NBA.

Seriously this is a problem, maybe some patchers will update it...EA's colors are never vibrant at all, in any case. Blues/reds etc are always dull versions - and white and black always tend to gray. The whites are particularly bad this year.

I may try turning off lighting and see what happens, maybe it will fix this and the shiny faces from '06 patches...

did you try boosting up the brightness in detail settings? Or maybe changing the contrast/gamma settings for your video card?
