I'm not sure whether you saw the second clip that BigKaboom2 posted because it showed that his vert is 42"

Vertical is measured from a standing jump, so it's not necessarily applicable, but it's clear that he deserves a 99.

James White can fly, trust me. There have to be some Youtube videos of him, he's just absurd.

I rest my case.EDIT 2:
Sick.

Ersan Ilyasova .. He was the MVP of U-21 World Championship. And in the Basketball World Champisonship, rewarded as the "best young player" . I don't know if anyone here watched him. but he's developing in to a really good player. Especially his shooting ability in the game is very underrated. He's known with his pure shooting ability in Europe with a range every possible point of the court. Shortly his field goal and 3 point ability must be higher.

Find me his vertical in inches, and I'll rate him accordingly.

Watch the clips. His vertical is flying. That should cover it.

I think Kobe's defensive awareness should definately get atleast a 10 pt boost, he's what? A three time defensive 1st team player?
Also after the travesty that was the game vs. Italy, I just don't think LeBron, Paul or Wade deserve to be lockdown superstars on defense.

I think the point Bigh0rt is trying to make is that he isn't going to listen to arguments like "look at this clip, this guy has mad shooting range, his 3pt should be a 90!!!!" If you want to make a case for a guy's ratings to be boosted, then make an actual argument for it. Find a statistic or two. Find some evidence that isn't merely anectdotal. If you are an ESPN insider, John Hollinger has some very nice stats, but 82games.com and basketball-refernce.com are two sites that are free and use the very stats that Bigh0rt is using for his ratings. These stats are bound to change from last year to this year, so if you find some discrepensies, then bring them to his attention. This project is a lot of work, and he doesn't have to do this, let alone let everyone else have his work for free. Show some respect by not hounding the man with stupid ass coments all over the place.

God bless you sir. You see the light, while everyone else sits in the dark.
Any insight you bring to the table -- I'm all ears.

Bigh0rt, I am currently working on getting my degree in math so I can be an educator much like yourself. I also plan to coach, so it appears we have a few things in common. I would be glad to help with anything you need, but I am rather busy, so I dont know how much I can do. Anyways, if you just wanna talk basketball stats or anything, drop me a line.

Sounds like a plan. If you have AIM, PM it to me if you wish to keep it private. Best of luck getting your degree -- it can be a headache at times; and is by no means easy. If you need advice, or whatever in that regard, feel free to drop me a line as well.

Check the stat man
also check D12 dunks , he shoud be SS power dunker

Sounds good, just try not to oversimply things and forget about confounding variables...
Cause most of the time people try to use stats like minutes to calculate fatigue, and then by some coincidence all the worst benchwarmers in the league apparently are there because of their poor stamina. And Mark West becomes the greatest shooter in nba history.

A look into the future...

Looks very nice, especially the court

I'm looking forward to it

I think Mickael Gelabale is really an underrated player, he is 58 OVR, which I think is way too low, so I'm posting some stats I've found around the net.
Drafted in second round 2005 NBA Draft, he was sent to play a season in Europe, where he fell in one of the big teams, Real Madrid (Spain), and played a key role. In his first season (2004, before being drafted), he averaged 8 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and just over 1 APG, in slightly over 20 MPG. In 2005 he proved to be an important player by averaging 9.8 PPG and 3.5 RPG in 23.1 MPG.
With France in the FIBA WC, in nine game averaged almost 24 MPG, Shot 43.5% from the field, 36% from the 3pt line, and 68.2% from the free throw line, and contributed with 8.7 PPG and 4.5 RPG.
I'm not talking about making him a Superstar, but he's proved to be an interesting player and I'm thinking he'll make a positive impact in the Sonics roster, being an important sub, so I guess his OVR should be around 65, and should have some projection over the future.

Man good shit.
Even though I am making a temporary roster for everyone until this realeses, this looks really good.

About White jump rating again...
Remember guys that jumping rating is not only vertical - jumping rating contains vertical, hang-time and lenght of jump, and White, he can fly... he was 42 verticals in the air when he jumped from FT line and make windmill dunk.
About D-Howard - he was second last year in rebounding, 85 def rebound rating is low for second rebounder in league, yes ?
Marion should be FSS highflyer with dunkpack 1

. He's Matrix

just watch any Phoenix game.
And Josh Smith blocking ability - check his stats.
last year - 2.6 per game
in his rookie year 1.9
and his life record of blocks in one game is 10. He can be the best shotblocker for next years for sure.
Samuel Delambert jumping is too low, he can jump high to get spectacular blocks.
sorry for my bad english.

Can't wait, this looks good.

Question:
Is this roster update is the
official NLSC roster update instead of Andrew's?
Mon Oct 16, 2006 10:16 am
If Andrew isn't going to make a roster (which he hasn't said whether he is or isn't, as far as I recall), and wants to grant me permission to give it such title, by all means. Otherwise, as usual, Andrew's roster will be the official one of the NLSC.
Mon Oct 16, 2006 10:23 am
So if he decides to make his roster update anyway, are you going to stop doing your update and make his the
official NBA Live 07 SUM roster update? (it wouldn't make sense that two people from the NLSC team are making two seperate roster updates..)
Maybe you two should work together to work on the roster patch so the final product will be perfact ..
