Hmm I tried a game and paid attention to the PG for the first time; he only really dominated when I had a bigger slower guy attempt to guard him (Marquis Daniels on Billups.) He did seem to pound the ball for a while before passing off when I played better defense.

I am far more annoyed by the fact that I can't get my defenders to jump and contest a shot if they're anywhere near the guy with the ball...

You are talking about star PG's, Billups is the go-to-guy of Detroit, of course he will dominate.

A user at the ea forums posted info about a class action lawsuit against EA for misrepresentation of the game features. I think its funny, considering that they probably posted it without reading the news on the patch development. The user has given EA 14 days to release a patch, LMAO.

I expect them to do a decent->good job on this patch for a change. For some reason I believe they expected some of the negative feedback but not to this extent directly after release. I'm optimistic they will release omething that will have everyone jumping in there panties.


PS. I highly doubt they will fix the PG domination bug though but oh well....

The point is, he DO NOT have to do this, this is not is job, i don't have to run after Andre Miller like a fuckin lunatic while all he has to do is pass the ball.
It is not mine problem, it is the fact that Tyron Lue makes 33 points and 2 assists

even if you pressure they PG's they will force waay too many contested shots / layups and they don't pass the ball to post players enough. i've yet to find a game where eric snow or devin harris don't take more shots than ilgauskas or dirk.

My point was that Billups did *not* dominate when I guarded him. You missed the point of my post completely.

It was Hamilton that got the passes and shots though rather than big men.

Great news, re: the patch. Although there are many quirks, I agree that if it addresses the PG domination problem and the CPU substitution issue, then this becomes a pretty decent game which I can see myself getting a lot of mileage from. Without at least a fix for those two problems, then I can't see myself keeping this much longer.

Got my copy last night for PC... tried to play against the Celtics, and Delonte West goes off for 30 points while Paul Pierce barely touched the ball. Uh huh. I also hope they can tweak things to bring forwards and centres into the offence, as the CPU seems to ignore them mostly.

Tell me about it. In my Dynasty Marko Jaric torched me dor 40-something last week. This while sharing the court with Jamal Crawford, and Shaquille O'Neal.

I played as the Mavs against the Bulls today and Gordon scored something like 43 while Hinrich chipped in 33 points and 11 assists

P.J. Brown also had 17 rebounds at the half....I thought I was back in the 50's.

Good to see that a PC patch will be released, but does anyone think a 360 patch is likely? From what I can tell the same bugs exist across platforms, and I think patches for some xbox games have been released in the past through live update?

all i mostly concern is to fix the cpu team 's unbelievable high percentage shots when they r trailed behind at allstar level

Thankfully 07 is released later here in Australia....it gave me the chance to hear all the horrible problems and make my decision not to buy it.

I will await everyone's comments on how well the patch addresses the issues, then make my final choice as to wether it worth the $$$.

Hey, just a tip for you: I'm in Australia as well. I got my copy from Zest in Thailand. They are completely legit copies with retail packaging, serial and everything... and including exchange rates and shipping, it only cost me AUD$37. Only takes a week max to arrive. Keep it in mind if you decide to buy - I saw FIFA 07 at EB for like AUD$70.

this doesn't help the console users....I think they should release pc version first, then all bugs are picked up, then console versions get fixed up....I know everyone will disagree, but I'm not current gen so it doesn't bother me, but I just feel for the ps2/xbox players....ahh well, guess they can get 2k7....screw live....
